Hi
In the IM domain... I have applied for a job as a marketer... Usually how long till I get an answer? Few days or one week?
What is happening there? The employer waits for tens of cv s then he chose few he likes or as soon as he finds one he is gonna call him?

Nevermind i found the answer on google...
How do I delete that post from mobile? Or can an admin close it?

If it doesn't happen in a week then you're rejected. Ideally a reply should come within 2-3 days.

So is how i believed it is and not they re waiting for tens and then choose from there at the end of the month or something....

It can take any time between few minutes to eternity (never).
Looks like we re not gonna be friends

If you still wish to close it, just use the report button for the opening post and we would close it for you.

It’s weird that you found the answer because there really isn’t one. Every employer is different and there’s no set standard to job applications.

I second that. Honestly, they might respond in 3 months (happened to me) or not at all. Sometimes applying to jobs feels like sending a CV to a black hole. Never hear back. It certainly makes you appreciate even the templated auto-responses you get from some applications.

Depends of the country, here it can be 2 months before an interview

The best way is to apply on LinkedIn so you got a notification when your cv is being viewed or downloaded. But some of the companies have a database of every application that applied on their job listing, I got an answer a few months later that I was suitable for a role that I never applied for. the company is Shopee but I already got a better job at another company.

And by "here", he means the Atlantic ocean obviously!

My fish dissociative identity disorder is starting to mess with all the bhw community mental's health. I like it.

For programming jobs, I’ve waited anywhere from 24 hours to multiple months. Some you’re just never gonna hear back from for multiple reasons, so given the OP wanted & found a direct answer to question that doesn’t have one. Lol

Yes, where Nemo is the HR rep who is finding new recruits.

Yea you re right, but I was looking for some statistics to know my next move what should be... So the answer, conform with google, is : Every employer is different, but in general (75%) 1 to 2 weeks.
