How Do I Stop Youtube Spam Comments

Hello all,
I have a crypto channel is that constantly bombarded by spam comments. I have blocked so many words that have affected many genuine comments.
However, there are these comments that always escape the filter. they normally start the comments with arrows and other signs that help them to escape the block.
Please, is there any trick I am missing? Please help!

There's a comment detecter/deleter by ThioJoe on Github that has supposedly amazing spam detection. I'm pretty sure it can scan a whole channel and delete all the spam comments in one click.

You can turn off comment on youtube settings if you want to.

How would it delete comments in a channel, if it is not granted access to the channel. I hope it is not risky using this tool?

I'm pretty sure you grant it moderator status or smth and it can only delete comments
