[ Analyze Algorithm ] How long does it take for a YouTube video to get in the algorithm?

Most of my videos are long ( around 3-6 min ), low effort but algorithm often recommended my video when i share my video to reddit, but for the latest video with high effort on it, algorithm wont recommend my video but suggested video kill my video, bring ctr very low. All of my view is normal, not buying anything from any site.
Algorithm starts after 12 hours being uploaded for this video. Video length is 2:06 , retention is 38%, 0 comment and 3 likes in the first 12 hours and algorithm still choose ( Reddit share )

Algorithm starts after 12 hours, length is 4:32, retention 36%, 2 comments and 15 like in the first 12 hours ( reddit share )

Algorithm start after 11 hours, length is 2:43, retention 33%, 0 like 0 comment in the first 11 hours ( reddit share )

Algorithm wont start, nothing happen, length is 5 mins, retention 39%, 13 likes and 4 comment in 9 days ( I didnt record this video because it's dead , NO reddit share )

Now for the fun part, this video is short content, alogrithm start after 18 hours, length is 31s, retention 71%, 16 like and 0 comment in the first 18 hours ( Reddit share )

Now for the main parts, the video is short content with high effort, algorithm still wont start ( It's nearly 24 hours ), length is 19s, retention is 94%, 142 likes and 7 comments in the first 23 hours ( Reddit share 4 times in different subreddit ) ( I notice impression from suggested video is too high that could kill my ctr, how do i prevent it from suggesting? )

So i dont understand how does algorithm work? Yes it's most likely to pick my video when i share it on reddit, if i dont, mostly wont, but the latest video share with a lot of views, why algorithm wont start? They like my latest videos a lot, why nothing happen?

I like to watching my own video however i watch in my save project, not from youtube to avoid watching unskippable ads

I dont think it need more time, if in the first 18 hours nothing happen, it will never happen, algorithm will never start.
Btw my latest video rank in 2nd search with short tail keyword which everyone often search for it ( high competition )

18 hours? There are a lot of factors that influence your videos exposure on YouTube. Even when your competitor video gets deleted, your video could be favored. 18 hours is not a lot of time. Sometimes just give it more time.

Yes, it happens. If you have ever been in a very competitive niche with keywords of high search volume, you would know easily.

Then you don't have to bother yourself too much. The likes you got on YouTube don't have a negative effect.

Make sure that you like your video, be funny and find something that is popular on YouTube to grow fast. You just need to be patient, post videos and don’t stop to do it, YouTube algorithm will come, trust me. The key is the Nike motto, just do it

i just feel a little bit angry when my low effort got boost while high effort get nothing, yes i keep uploading medium effort video
