Hey, guys is AlexHost VPS any good? Since I found a lot of good reviews and some bad ones here on BHW. If you do not recommend it do you know any offshore hosting that is good with similar prices?

NO! They aren't. Its just dirty tricks to get customers. I rekon offshorededi or webcare360 which are not very strict on DMCA.

Don't hear him, alexhost is offshore and dmca ignored.
Offshore means that accepts certain types of contents, not mean you can host everything, that is bulletproof hosting.
Offshore hosting have limits in content some may allow dmca or not.

Alexhost ignores dmca if we read their acceptable usage policy and terms of service (I provided a link above)

@filiposlovni Alexhost is dmca ignored, just like theonionhost is. Some people here are always trying to talk bad about providers from Marketplace... some have years in marketplace. I recommend you ask in livechat or open a ticket support with them, but if you check this:

I had a VPS with Alexhost, no single issues. I learned how to make my things and how install this or that, without any help.
They are good and have own datacenter and accept crypto, another good one is @stromind

I already told you what happen. If you used our Shared Hosting (yearly plan) keep in mind that is CHEAPEST for the price you pay.
You can't expect high quality in cheap services for 10€ in year. A high quality hosting should be near close to 50-80€ yearly or more.

We have LiteSpeed Hosting which is Shared but more fastest than Shared Hosting.
If you want more resources for you, I highly recommend you use a VPS instead Shared Hosting.

I'm really thinking about buying your hosting (Got a few websites with traffic going up to forty thousand visitors daily) and so I always have to carefully choose my hosting. I found a lot of good reviews but I also found some people complaining here on the forum. I guess I will go for 3 months first for the highest unmanaged VPS plan. I plan to move my website from current VPS Cpanel hosting to CyberPanel one on your VPS plan. The support team told me you guys install vesta cp free of charge, does the same applies to the cyber panel?

Also, I totally support you in regards to some customers just not reading and being assholes so I know that there are some bad reviews that are made just because the customers themselves are incompetent. But I also saw your VPS servers being ddosed in some thread and all the websites not working? Have you found a solution for that?

So what do you say about the Skype message from you? I already checked and verified things with you directly in above Skype message. Funny isn't it? Still you want me to check marketplace and ask there whether you ignore DMCA? You are accusing me of joking and trolling and you yourself admitting that you adhere to DMCA. I guess you are joking and trolling BHW members here.

My message was not like I was holding grudge against you but your reply was very rude to me as I stated the thing which you yourself said to your customers in Skype, so I had to share the screenshot of the message you sent me on Skype. Also if you deny that this is fabricated then I will share the video recording too.

JohnDoe. My intention is not saying you are lying, but you certainly in DMCA context you aren't correct.

I said you are lying because I had VPS with them never single takedown, also my friend was used them. No single takedown since years, my friend used more than me. I can recognize they ignore DMCA. If they don't ignore why I should say they ignore? I had experience that, if you don't believe me and if you don't believe that Alexhost ignores dmca, I will call other member who can vouch and say the opposite @18young

Dear filiposlovni if you see that, you also see that I mention other providers, here is a proof. I don't work of any of them. @stromind with I also mention sometimes in many threads, can confirm that. I don't work for TheOnionHost aka @stromind, but sometimes I mention them in threads because they are also good.

If you think I work for them why I mention Flokinet, TheOnionHost, Privatelayer and many more? I work for them all loool makes sense. I'm fully of money. That should be good, but the reality is I don't.

I really dont know why you guys fighting over a company that not related to you guys. I am doing movie sites and adult sites mainly. Most of my sites hosted with them. So far dosnt get any issue regarding DMCA. But we cant trust any company regarding these kind of works that we are doing. We need to be ready if something happens.

Best way is host these sites on your own server and buy offshore internet line for that. Sweden is a good country for these kind of things. I knew few people that doing these without any issue. Before that they also host their sites on companies like these.

Some people says alexhost is the best some dont. That because of their own experience. I gave a review on alexhost in their thread. I told them that I only like them because they ignore dmca issues. Forget alexhost if you dont like. Here few suggestion beside them.

It is always best to contact the host via chat and be up front about what you plan to host. I contacted Alexhost in the past. The person I spoke to was not that friendly. I told them that I was going to host an anonymous cloud storage service (not the files just the static HTML). They would only host if I spent at least 150 euros. For me that was a huge red flag and it wasn't something written on their website and still isn't now. Any business trying to extort you for extra money using this type of business model isn't going to fare well.

What @NetShop ISP said in this thread is exactly what you need to do as part of your own checks. I tried NetShop ISP for hosting in the past and I would personally recommended them over @alexhost1. The only reason I'm still not with NetShop ISP was due to the low bandwidth restrictions for the budget I had for NL. Otherwise the staff were friendly and clear about the processes, and certainly weren't trying to export you for extra money.
