I’ve been having problems trying to subscribe to Jasper (former Jarvis) AI because my credit card kept being refused and I couldn’t understand why (as I know it wasn’t a problem with my credit card or bank account)

Today I got in touch with people behind Jasper AI and they have informed me that they no longer accept virtual credit cards.

So from now on, you can only subscribe with a physical credit card.

I think this has been since November last year.
That's when it all stopped working for me.

Consider using Sensit.Ai. It’s sold by a member here on the forum and I can personally vouch for the content that it generates.

I can’t speak about their payment options, however, they’re worth using for sure.

I think this was in part to block group buy services abusing the system.

It’s possible, but honestly I think they should have tried another way of solving the issue if that’s the case. It puts me off of trying their service. I guess I’ll have to try other alternatives.

Drop Dave an email, he's a decent guy, as is Austin.

I have the same problem, they replied this:

"I know this is frustrating, I'm sorry. It looks like your card is being blocked because our system is associating it with fraud. Do you have another card you can use? The best solution when this happens is for you to create a new account with a new card. Let me know if you have questions."

It's a virtual card but how do they know it is a vcc? I'm using an unsaturated BIN from a local bank which works on other websites who don't accept vcc.

What would you do if you kept seeing the same bins requesting refunds/cancellations etc?

That's why I said "unsaturated BIN", every time I need a new VCC I have to call my bank and spend 10 minutes on the phone. It's something else.

I don't have an issue using my Revolut VCC for payment, but that's probably because I subscribed a long time ago, in the early days of Jasper where it was called Conversion.ai.

I think they want to prevent abuse of the free trial. What I would do is, send them an email and say that you want to signup directly (no free trial). There should be a way to make it work.

They gave me the same idea (create a new account), I used a valid physical card, and still was refused. So I honestly think the issue is something else entirely.

If that’s the case, then wouldn’t it be better to just not offer a free trial at all? Or make your free trial available without the need of inserting your card info, and use some sort of program to block more than one account that comes from the same IP or something. Idk, the way I see it, I think they look like they don’t care if you can sign up or not. I have a long chain of emails traded back and fourth with them where I try to fix the issue and all they answer is “I’m sorry that this is happening”.

As I'm an affiliate for Jasper, I had some conversations with the team in the past. If you want you can send me a PM, I will try to help you.

I can’t send PMs (probably because I’m a newbie still? Idk lol) but send me one so we can talk :)
