wow great method share, really simple and easy to take action like after hitting the Post reply button. Could you share some tip on how to find the Content ID or if its labered. There is lot of info under the description of the youtube itself, but are there anymore ways ?

Plus I already thought of a small twist.

Yes, if you fit the criteria you can monetize them. Not every video is going to show a pre-roll ad. The songs aren’t public releases - there is no Content ID on them whatsoever.

Side tip: You can slightly pitch the song down in any digital audio workstation. We used to do this for added safety but in my experience if the song is unreleased you shouldn’t run into any problems at all using the regular MP3 file you rip from YouTube.

Does adding effects and the "reverb + slowed down" versions of a song let you monetize a song with copyright? Or can you be taken down even with heavy editing and changing the song itself?

I never checked. I always just went straight for the upload. Maybe some sort of Content ID bank exists where you can upload a song and see if it's already copyrighted, but I'm unfamiliar with it.

Is it possible? Sure. That being said, I never monetized with CPA - just AdSense. You would have to come up with some sort of twist.

In most cases, yes. That's why there are so many "slowed + reverb" versions of popular songs on Youtube (which by the way, is another thing you can do to make $$$ that is very similar to this). You can use any DAW software to modify the pitch of a song and add reverb. My favorite is FL Studio.

I'm an artist myself (I produce music on the side) and I didn't have any issues sleeping at night when doing this. There are way worse methods out there - personally I would consider this to be very mild on the Blackhat scale because nobody is left exploited or victimized. I'm sure the artist isn't thrilled about their music getting leaked, but at the end of the day, you're not the person who leaked the music. Nobody is forcing you to implement the method though.

I might be wrong but I might be right but it looks clear that the man is following a marketing strategy to milk your money.

There's no way he's pulling 3k a month, actually he won't be even close to that. Music has one of the lowest CPM.
Method is alright though no hate. Issue is they will claim your songs once they release them or even strike you. So it's not really something you should do longterm.
