What's the best video editing software?

What's the best video editing software in your opinion? I know that depends a lot what the client wants to do...

What I need to do is just to import subtitles, change the font, color, size, adding title for my personal IG page.

I used a couple of softwares to import subtitles but I don't know why the subtitles looks kinda pixelated. It's like they are not HD.

Also what is the resolution for Instagram videos is it 1080x1920 or? Thanks in advance.

Adobe is first choice. Also so many factors kicks in when it comes to selecting the video editor.

I prefer DaVinci resolve but still I'd say premiere is the most popular, has many online tutorials and easy to use.

Invideo is a great tool.

I have also heard Pictory has improved a lot and doing great lately.

Anyone here is using pictory?
If yes, It will be good if you can share your experience here?

Davinci Resolve and premier pro

definitely imovie if you work on mac. it's easy, free and reliable

Being a Linux user, my inclination was to go with Davinci Resolve, but given the amazing amount of tutorials and support available online for Premiere, I went that way instead. I even built my first Windoze box in 15 years for it.

I like this software but don't know why the captions don't look 100% HD maybe I'm doing anything wrong don't know... That's why I'm asking for others softwares.
By caption you mean subtitle? If so I am sure you are either using a font that is low resolution or your render export is low in resolution.
Cause I tried using subtitles on Premiere and it did not look bad.

I love Davinci Resolve!
Cool program!)
Video coloring is simply the best thing in Windows.

Premiere Pro + Descript. Killer combo. Descript is gold as far as "audio" editing is concerned in those videos used in marketing operations. The ability to remove fillers without re-recording the video/audio, transcription and even training the software to clone your voice for bulk videos.
