Why google instant indexing API is better than manual submit URL in GSC?

I have got one issue, one of my e-commerce websites, there is one product page that has not been indexed for more than 3 days. previously I have done one step, I made one manual submit URL in Google Search Console.

Using GSC URL Inspection, then click REQUEST INDEXING. but this is not working, after 3 days later, I check this URL still not indexed.

Then I use google instant indexing API to ping this URL, after about 6 hours, I check it again, It has been indexed.

so what's the difference between "google instant indexing API" and "manual submit URL in GSC"?

I thought they are all the same google bot, but actually, it is different, if it is the same, why the not indexed URL has been indexed by using instance indexing API.

Google instant index API force Google news bot to crawl your URLs, by default, this feature only catered for those legit news sites, or frequently updated sites, in order to display the newest updated information on a given page.

But some people leveraged this feature, then Rank Math even built a plugin solely for this purpose.

So yes, this news bot has priority than normal crawl bot, which in most cases, they (Google) don't give a shit about your site even if you submit X times via inspection URL function.

This API is meant for News and Job posting sites that frequently update with new information. People are exploiting it and I don't think if it lasts long. Google may come up with alternatives to avoid misuse of this feature.
