Where Do You Store Your Private key

I wonder what is the best place to store your private key where all your money on those 12/24/25 words
I tried to put it in the library in one of the books but forgot which one is the one
don't want to put that on my bank
give me some creative ideas

There are a couple of options, for exemple you can use Bitwarden on an old phone that will never be connected to the internet (no wifi, no simcard, no bluetooth) so you can have a cold storage device

I have a couple that are just stored in plain text on my tablet and one is written down on a post-it someone on my girlfriend's desk at the moment. If it ever got to the point where it was a significant part of my net worth I'd probably split it between at least two wallets and store them in safety deposit boxes.

I've heard of some elaborate stuff like burying it in a field but I don't get the point.

I have written it on paper(and laminated it) and climbed this tree to hide it inside of parrots nest.

Frankly, it is not a lot on exchanges also. I withdraw the payments recieved. Only keep some to pay for services I buy with crypto.

Wrote tha in paper

Tore paper in two parts

Uploaded one on g drive

Uploaded second on drop box

Shredded the paper..

Write it on the back of the wallpaper, Or Tape a piece of paper to the wall and paint your walls. Slip it into a hollowed-out piece of dry wall (don't need a lot of space). Wrap it around the inside layer of your ethernet cord. There are so many easy and creative ways you can hide a piece of paper. Use some sort of encryption only you know just in case and always have backups also hidden around in case your house burns down. Just ask yourself "Will a cop/investigation team find this?" and you get your answer on safty.

Probably not the best advice but I have mine saved in a notepad file on my desktop

Eventually I'll get around to backing them up on a flashdrive that's locked away.
