I know exactly what your saying when you say you're "that house".

Get a dog, a security system, automatic lights, cameras, and catch them. Then take them to the police. Get a lot of evidence and build a case before you turn them in so their influence won't be as strong.

Once you bust some, the rest will stop. Also, if you become a bigger part of the community, that will definitely reduce or eliminate all the vandalism. They are probably doing this to you because they don't know you and think your weird or something, which I doubt you are.

This is, or you go after them with everything you have, or just build some bounds with them. Orgnanize an event, soccer game or something short term that will make them feel like "Nah let's bother someone else they are good people".
You may haven't do anything bad to them, but what pisses them off is the fact of you and your family beeing misterious, that doesnt show up.

I haven't fought back for 6 years. I've tried to be friendly. I've thrown a football around with a few of them. Every year I put up an amazing computer controlled Christmas light show. I've tried to let them get to know us a little, but it hasn't worked. We just don't run in the same social circles. Different schools, different churches, etc. . .

Nothing would make me happier than if this would all just go away. They've just gone too far with the painting on the fence. .

Set up a boobie trap with an object on your property, put it somewhere they will see it. Make something irresistible to them,(ex. something nice that they will want to break) put something like that on your property and when they go to break it, steal it, blah blah blah, have it boobie trapped, not psycho stuff, just stupid stuff like bucket of water falls on then when something is moved. Use your brain and you will always win.

Save for the rare occasion they bring with them a chainsaw.
