The neighbor hood kids have vandalized my house for the last time. They have been terrorizing us for 6 years. I realize this post is made in anger, but I've been "turning the other cheek" for 6 years. I've finally had enough. I have video cameras, and still can't catch them. I've been egged, TP'ed, and more. Last week, they drove a car through my yard. This week, they TP'ed my house, and spraypainted a big penis on my fence, and poured a can of paint on the fence too.

These aren't kids from a bad neighborhood. These are rich, affluent, and supposedly religious. However, we do not go to the same church or school, and we are their favorite target. We're never outside, and we've never done anything to them. We're just "that house" . . . you know the one that the kids dare the other kids to egg, tp, etc. . .

I'm open to any and all suggestions. I want to hit them where it hurts. Parents have several local businesses and websites. . . I have a full time staff of outsourcers. . . . .

I'll most likely do nothing "illegal", but i'd be interested in all of your suggestions anyways for a good laugh.

Then when you have them on camera build a blog and post the videos then send a nice letter to their homes and business also call the paper and put an ad in with a still pic of one of them.

Set up a boobie trap with an object on your property, put it somewhere they will see it. Make something irresistible to them,(ex. something nice that they will want to break) put something like that on your property and when they go to break it, steal it, blah blah blah, have it boobie trapped, not psycho stuff, just stupid stuff like bucket of water falls on then when something is moved. Why is it blackhat? My thoughts were to build links to their competitors, write bad reviews etc. . Just wondering if there was something more interesting/devious.

I do have two cameras on the front of the house, but I just can't seem to catch them. I need to move them i guess. I think they know where they are. The latest incidence were out of camera view.

Certainly if this should be moved, then by all means, please move it.

True people can be much more unreasonable then that but generally kids go 'after' a person not a house. From personal experience, I had too many ppl I wanted to go tp, egg, etc than just pick a 'random' house.

Motion detection lights are a good deterent....that combined with a motion detection webcam should do the trick.

You'll at least know who it is...use that information to talk with the parents. They control their kids, or you turn the tape over to the cops. Throw in the fact that you go to a differerent Church and you consider what their kids do to be profiling and a hate crime.

In the meantime...BH the shit out of their sites and report their businesses to the BBB.

I'm a grown man (39) with a small child. If we deserved this, I'd be the first one to admit it. They're after us alright. . . But I just can't go around kickin 10-15 year old kids asses.

We've talked to the police. Filed several police reports. We have NO PROOF that it is them. In fact, we're not totally sure which kids it is, but they all hang out together. I wouldn't call it a gang, unless you can call rich white kids a gang. . . But there are a LOT of them in our neighborhood. Ages range from 8-16 or so. I have video cameras in the front, but so far, everything has happened at night, and you can throw an egg out of the range of my infrared cameras. . . So again, no proof.

We've just turned into "that house" in the neighborhood. . You know the one, the one where the mean people live that you used to "ding dong ditch" as a kid. It's no fun to do it to the nice people. . . But we're not mean, and unfortunately, they don't know us. We're quiet people. We're private, and we hardly go outside. I've had to be the calm one. My wife can't handle it. She's about to have a nervous breakdown. So I've tried to pass it off as just kids being kids, but it's escalated in a big way in the past couple of weeks.

In the past, I didn't make a big deal. I figured if they didn't think it bothered us, they'd go away. . . . I guess I was wrong. It started out as harmless door bell ringing. . . we called their parents. The parents denied it was their kids. . . even though i looked them in the face. Then that parent started spreading crazy rumors about us that we were mean, and hateful, etc. . . The kids hear that from their parents, tell other kids in the neighborhood, and after time, we become that house. . . where the mean people live.

Sorry if I just had to vent. Call me a big pussy if you want, but until you walk in my shoes. These are some rich and influential people in my neighborhood and we live in a small town. One former Governor and several State Senators lived right in my neighborhood. Not the kind of people you want to piss off, but I guess what i've been doing in the past isn't working.
