Your bank balance does not count. Your assets do not count. Only cash at home.


Following OP goes first rule: Just realized I have barely enough cash for surviving for just another four days. Not even a week. If my bank account gets locked, I am done for.

The value in dollar will be approx $500 all time. Major big payments are made directly by mobile and not in cash though.

Minimal. Not much use these days.
One of the few occasions when i use cash is when i buy something cheap, e.g. a loaf of bread in a small shop and i know that the bank fucks them with fees, so their profit melts, if i pay with credit card. Or when i buy some home-made stuff at a farmers market, where they can't take credit cards. Oh yea and the cash tips for deliveries. That's it pretty much.

The amount of days i can survive doesn't depend on the amount of cash i keep at home. It depends on everything else i keep at home.

Mobile money is very efficient in my country, so, there's no point in keeping cash at home.

Usually, I keep one year's worth of living expenses in cash. But I live in Eastern Europe, so that's normal. Not a lot of trust in banks.
