Back-hand to the first chap that says money!

I honestly can't figure out what's fuelling my tank these days, giving up just isn't something I'm used to. I suppose education could be what's motivating me, what about you ballers?

Some more I can think of is fear of going backwards in life, working on a specific project that'd have you excited... Maybe proving a point to yourself or someone else?

in my case, its fear of staying the same way. another year passing and looking back, and everything is half-assed, it scares me. not the best motivation, but comes in a clutch when you cant find a more meaty one.

hah, I can only chant the mantra again, motivation is bullshit, discipline is what you should look for. Motivation is highly affected by procrastination and it's dangerous.

My motivation was money, I got to the point I do not need to work anymore. What happened? A full emotional rollercoaster and a dive into a pretty depressing state.

I bitchslapped myself and am now back to work mode again, without any motivation, just a discipline.

It's like going to gym, what motivates sportists to keep going even if they dont feel like it?

Obviously, you need to find your "why"'s to keep the grind. BUt if its only motivation that one counts on - a hard time will be encountered.

The truth is probably somewhere therein the middle - one need to be disciplined to keep going and find small motivation boosts along the way.

Fear. It is my powerful motivation. It made me move out of my comfort zone. The questions "what if" that raises in my mind.. omg.. it scares me a lot. It makes me run faster than ever.

Small wins are a great motivation boost for me. Exploring new ideas to make a project self sustainable is fascinating, but as soon as I find one that works, I cound it as a great win.
Also, writing about things that I enjoy makes any project fun. I enjoy the research, and I enjoy reading the content that I buy. It makes 'motivation' less important, because you have fun in the process.

Rock music motivates me these days , to be honest with you.
Like this song :
Do you know when us army was throwing its solders in a war zone , the played this song.
It could be a mk ultra thing, but hey, it works for me!!

I get a kick out of persistence, and how well my management system seems to be improving all aspects of my business by leaps and bounds. Feel a bit more motivated to dream a bit more, now that I'm regularly able to pay the price in the present, of what I want in the future. Good times.

I put failure as my motivation reason? come to think of it and you'll understand me.

Building a passive income motivates me. Earning money is fine but building passive and sustainable brand motivates me. (Ofcourse I love what I work into). Thanks.

My goal is to achieve a higher level of automation with my bots and tools, to increase the time available to think about new concepts and methods.

Fear of beeing broke again like in the old days
Lifting others (wanting to provide great work environment and stable income to my team)
Fear of time

But the key, and also imho the biggest challenge, really is discipline.

@JCAB don't be let cash motivate you, you'll always be chasing something that you'll never be happy with... I find too when all time is spent chasing a pay-check, you take in less knowledge and go to bed a lot more fucking stressed.
Time slips by faster than one could imagine
That drives me

New year psychological energy boost.

Half of the people I knew were earning shit. Barely could do anything else than sleep and pay their bills.

Also the fact that I want to have something in 5 years and not just exist and wonder.

I spent 5 years making money and spending it while making it, so I'm not in for just blowing money now. I already did it and it taught me few lessons. I am interested in business investments.

There are many things to do when you have money. People who are not working get bored and have a tendency to complain.

It's easy to become that way when you are broke, but the most important thing is to get back on track.

When I don't work hard, I don't feel like I'm part of the living. If I would not like to work more, I would go to a monastery, but it is not for me.

It's good to be a person who buys gifts when there is no one around to give you a gift.

Everyday you can find a reason. Being disciplined person with a soul of the warrior is the most important though.

Play your favorite TV show, listen to music loud and do whatever you feel like to keep going.

Since I am into internet marketing on a totally independent freelance manner, the only thing that motivates me as far as internet marketing goes is money.
Perhaps if I was employed in a company, my motivations would be getting performance awards, my photo always on the office walls, like a "best performer", "the hero of the year", "our dynamic champion super saleman" titles, etc, , even "superman of our company" !!!! (like how it usually happens in the wonderful corporate world).

The idea of being financially free while you are 30 - 40 is great. Even better, being able to just reinvest your money and live that way instead of doing boring chores. Whatever you're doing right now, with proper mindset and plans can be outsourced at one point and you will be one that is able to set rules.

You can become a social media figure. Fame and reputation is something that motivates many freelancers. I feel like corporate work is a demo version of that.
