I was wondering if anybody has any experience to share?

[[ I sold a couple of domains for a few bucks on NameSilo but in a VERY long time like a year.]]

It can be but you have to be on the top of your game to know what domains are great buys.

I think it's better to try flipping starter sites.

If the domains are solid with clean history etc, people will buy.

I sold few at godaddy auction at good prices.

This is a highly specialized business if you are talking business

I had some success selling on NameSilo within the past couple of years (just a few domains, not many, and not high priced ones). I had tried before that on GoDaddy but no success. Even the same domain sold at NameSilo that didn't sell at GoDaddy auctions. I put it up for longer on NS tho, so it's not an entirely fair comparison.

Answer YES

I used to be in this business (still am but much more passively).

Just a couple of weeks ago i made 350$ selling one domain passively.

I used to make bank in this business.

You can make lots of money a month or yearly depends on the strategy and methods. You can even automate it to some extent.

But its a very thought bussiness and have a great knowledge that comes with experience.

If you want to make this a full time job you will have to learn a lot and it will take years for that. Well i guess the time depends on the person
