Anyone here successfully launch their NFT Collection? Sold out?

How's everybody doing? Making good money? That's great to hear!

Well, over the holidays I had a little more time than usual and when that happens, I often times make dumb decisions. (Sometimes great in retrospect.)

But I've stumbled upon the NFT space and with little to no experience I got lucky! Got $40k out of a $1k purchase.

So without thinking, I bought a drawing tablet to create NFTs, I made a website for it, and ready to mint by end of this month.

How did you guys go about marketing your NFT? Reddit, twitter, and did you hire influencers?

Things that helped to increase the community of the projects that I was working as marketing director:

1) Discord DMs and some telegram DMs( I don't think the telegram dms are really value for money though)
2) Active Twitter and Instagram with 2-4 posts daily in both platforms ( can put Facebook too, but meh..)
3) Paid promotion to influencers (Twitter/Instagram/Youtube)
4) Active Discord and Telegram Group ( Community Manager )
5) Paid ADs in platforms : Google/Twitter/Instagram/FB
6) Reddit post
7) "Raids" on "famous" twitter posts about your project

First and important thing is you need is Utility for those NFT's.

marketing skills ( even basic skills will do ) + luck = success.

Haha, ok. Someone just literally was ranting about it and showed me OpenSea and Metamask. And their art.

Somehow all I got out of the conversation was "You can make and bid on digital nfts and just let them sit there and make money"

I can see how it's mainly marketing because they were talking about the diff potential themes of nfts.

So, naturally, I hopped on BHW to see the best route to bridge the learning gap.

in general there are a lot of money to be made in this "area".

As a marketing director what KPIs or metrics do you look out for before pulling the plugs on the project? Sorry, im just not a marketing guy but really interested to get into the marketing space.

It might sound ridiculous , but when it comes to NFT especially , all you have to "check-count" as a "metric" is the activity on discord... If you have an active and hyped community, then it is over.. you can easily sell 50% of your project
