Do you use a backlink checker? What do you do with common backlink data? Hidden (PBN) backlinks are valuable information about your competitors' off-page SEO strategy, budget, and know-how. With this information, you can adjust your strategy as well to beat your competitors. That could be different measures like building a PBN by yourself, buying guest posts or reporting their PBN to Google. Yes, there are a lot of them (more than 10 billion in our dataset alone) but they are not evenly distributed. Hidden backlinks are highly concentrated on domains that use hidden PBN backlinks to rank. There is an exception though: Every domain, which has a significant amount of common backlinks, also has some hidden backlinks pointing to it because some percentage of website block third party crawlers to reduce their server load. You will find hidden backlinks, especially in high competition or grey area niches.
A new dataset is already planned and will likely be twice as large as our current one. For this, we need to double our dedicated servers in our server cluster.
