So, I haven't used Clickbank a whole lot and lets say that I'm promoting "The Truth about Abs". Once someone clicks my link it will redirect them to The Truth About Abs landing page: http://www.truthaboutabs.com with my hop link at the end.

I was wondering if I bypassed all this and direct linked to the order form page and if clickbank would still track the lead if they did purchase the ebook? The link which is shown when the "add to cart" button is clicked:

https://ssl.clickbank.net/order/orderform.html?time=1264722929&vvvv=6d696b65676561727931&item=3&cbfid=6&cbf=EB4K96Q5DF&vvar=cbfid%3D6

No. You need your "leads" to visit your hoplink first.

Because when a visitor visits your hoplink, a tracking cookie is dropped on the visitor's computer. This cookie is what credits you the commission.

Well, if you reach over 50 posts, you will get to see a special section to solve this issue

Ahh ok, so there is a way. Maybe I'll just have to become way more active or just google it and see if it is on the internet somewhere ;D

Yep its how it works.. And that 'special section' is really special.. It contains alot of info that a newbie don't deserve.. Try to be active some more :cow_yello

Setup a .htaccess redirect so an image (1px x 1px) on your landing page redirects to your offer landing page, thus dropping the cookie without the user seeing the landing page. Search for Cookie Stuffing, you will find what you need.

Alright thanks for the info guys :D. One more thing though, even if you could do this wouldn't it show in your account analytics that you had a ton of order form impressions but no hops? Would this alarm the merchant? Or do they not really care unless they're getting sales?
