White Hat is just Black Hat with less risk involved. It works but needs more investment. I recommend it for real business websites and long term projects.

If you want to focus on traffic, Whitehat is a good option, other methods not needed because both come with some risks

You have to understand that blackhat will always be around.
The problem with blackhat SEO is that it is fast-evolving to be a rich person's game.

The days of the small one-man-band operation when it comes to low budgets and low time commitments are way past us.
You better have enough cash and time to commit to blackhat SEO, and you will be richly rewarded.
