India leading the tech industry

i'm not indian but this list is impressive:
Twitter- Parag Agarwal
Google - Sundar Pichai
Microsoft - Satya Nadella
IBM - Arvind Krishna
Adobe- Shantanu Narayen
VMWare - Raghu Raghuram

---> All India born. (is there something in the water? )
1 in 5 people are Indian.

But China is a communist country.
Politically perhaps. But economically they are less communist than the west and the gap keeps widening. A good example is income tax. Did you know that many European countries have higher income tax than China? How can this be in a "communist" country? I guess they are not really implementing socialism then. Not to mention their generous tax deductions, of which Europeans can only dream of.

I said it as an argument to why they are not leading the western tech industry.

They will soon. They got their tech for free when westerners move manufacturing to China and as the competence of westerns decreases (slowly since 1800-ies) and rejection of meritocracy is celebrated, China will, one way or another, became the tech leader eventually. It is not so much that they are accelerating as it is us who are slowing down.

you are definitely an Indian incognito...lol...

Brain drain is real because you cannot be territorial in a foreign land. You have to be hierarchical.

Probably that explains Ukraine as USA and Ukraine are only two non third world countries with permissive firearm laws.

I'm from India. I'm not proud of this country due to massive population and poverty. I just like the many tourist places. Here, people are very proud and prestigious just because someone cracks tough examinations.

Ancient India is better than the current polluted trend.

It's one of those complex issues where people want to root for their
supposed hometeam, but do not see the larger picture.

This is precisely why China limits the hell out of money exiting the country and controls travel.

you know how many chinese students in US/Europe.. i think more than indians
I can't speak for US but I've lived in several European all my life and there is definitely a lot more Indians than Chinese people here. There is probably more Indians in the UK alone than chinese people in the whole of Europe :D.

Indian IT sector is getting stronger and stronger every day. I feel that it will become the center of the whorld IT.

Indian tech experts are smart.

I watch a documentary which mentioned that, some Indian people's job still be affected by caste system. Caste system has clearly defined that which kinds of job should be done by which which kinds of caste. But only technology industry is not affected by caste system because there is no traditional rule to mention about technology. So, many low caste people learn technology to change their life.

The recent economic success of India reminds me of China. Likewise, India was just the country where it was convenient to have call-centers, but now it has started to develop their own IT technologies.

Sure there are so much talent in India.
But most of the names you have written which are managing and not founded.
Sundar pichai he is manager Or CEO role. For sure these are experts and know how all things work and manage. But creating things from scratch is another game.
But for sure no doubt some of things are founded and created by indians. Talent is sure but all talented people get settled in abroad.
