When trying to withdraw on Binance it shows $20. What would be cost effective way to load metamask with any erc20 token which can then be used on uniswap to buy other erc20 token?

There isn't any as far as I am aware but if there is any I am all ears

$20 is actually quite cheap. If you send an ERC-20 token from a decentralized wallet to another, it would cost more. Nowadays ETH gas fees can be as high as $100 or more.
Also, remember you have to pay 2 more fees when you use Uniswap. One to approve the token pairing, and another one to swap. Then, a third fee when you want to swap again to sell.

Yup afaik there would be fees for that tx to happen. You shouldn't be able to swap anything because the network fees would be 6 times of what you have lol.

good site to bookmark
erc20 fee - the fee to move from wallet to wallet.
uniswap fee - the fee execute a swap on uniswap

see if you can get that token right on binance
if not you have to use uniswap and eat some fee's
assuming you are doing this all on ethernet chain. the other ones are much cheaper. and imo better for day trading. sometimes gas gets up to $200. crazy. elsewhere you pay only few cents. or even fraction of a cent.

I once saw a ~$900 gas fee for a complex transaction.

ETH fee is around $25 to $30 depending upon network lord
To approve transactions, yes. To actually swap tokens, it's usually $80 or more, at least for me. That's why I no longer use Uniswap.

You can convert other tokens with low network fee to ERC20 tokens on metamask

another question on gas fees: let me give you an arbitrary numbers

one is $10 the other one is $100,000 given the transaction is on exact time (I mean both perform buy/sell or whatever on the same time)
will the gas fee be the same for both, or would the price change for the latter.
I assume it would be the same as I did a transaction for a very same amount and I had to pay almost $200. My gas fee is more than the amount would suggest, it wont be the same for a higher amount on that given time

Just wanted to ask the experience ppl in here
thanks

The real interesting question is what will happen with gas fees when eth2 proof of stake will be fully implemented in 2022.

Swap to AVAX and send that to MetaMask. Should be cheaper to send and you don’t have to pay extreme gas fees every time you do anything.

You’ll be paying that gas on ETH every time you move that money or invest it anywhere. Same with AVAX but it costs 20 cents instead of 20 dollars. Plus it’s a relatively new network that’s growing

Im very biased towards AVAX haha but I think this is decent advice

ethereum gas is the most expensive gas transfers,
when your working with small amounts between 0 - 1000 USD
i suggest you to use BSC or TRX blockchain ,

the ethereum blockchain working on decreasing the fees in the near future ,
but if you want to move small amounts use binance smart chain or tron chain

Usually how much is the fee for token pairing and swap respectively? Around 20 USD?
