I'm trying to figure out the best software for SEO there seems to be a lot of debate between SEM and ahrefs and even Mozz. Do you guys have any suggestions on the best SEO software you personally use?
Is one system better than another a certain things?

I don't have a preference between white or black hat systems either just looking for the best place to stick my money.
Thanks in advance for the suggestions

they all offer some type of trial. try them all out and pick which one you like interface wise because that really is the only difference

I appreciate the agnosticism. Which one do you use and what do you like about it?
I've used SEM in the past, but not the others I mentioned in my OP

personally, I like ahrefs. Several months ago I got my first subscription to ahrefs, semrush and moz at the same time, and while moz seems the easiest to use (UX-wise), ahrefs is also easy to use but much more powerful than moz. And semrush is the most complicated (for me).

In the end, it all comes down to your preference. Just get a group buy membership (it will cost you less than $10-15 per month to try these 3 tools and see which one you like)

both ahrefs and semrush are quite good with KD research, but when it comes to links, ahrefs is way better,
as suggested above, you can try both trials, you can extend semrush trial to 30 days as well using a referral link as bhw deal

Ahrefs for sure. SEMrush is far off in terms of traffic estimate
Authority Hackers did a test on the same

I will do a side-by-side comparison for both and maybe look at the bhw SEM link. Thanks for the pointer.

Ya I noticed my traffic readings were off but I never knew why. I'm glad to hear I am not the only one

from the ones you mentioned ahrefs is for sure the best as they have the most data it seems.
Is there other software you think is better than the ones I mentioned?

i dont think so, ahrefs is probably the best you can find for this type of systems.

Ahrefs tends to have the most backlink data in my opinion out of the avaiable SEO tools

Ahrefs is the most complete overall. Semrush is offering free access to its backlinks tool, but it’s nowhere near as complete or useful as ahrefs’.

(seo)Moz is probably the worst out of the three.

I always prefer Ahref

SEMrush and Ahrefs Both are Good.
SEMrush. Advanced SEO tools, all accessible from a masterful dashboard.
Ahrefs is a good price points and great web index.

I always use Ahref and Semrush. You can get as Group tool so that the price will be low

I personally recommend you to go with SEM, because am using SEM for the past 4 years. The KW research I get in SEM is really good when compared to both. I always see good results with SEM especially with the Backlink Analysis I do.

It's my suggestion you can try both Ahrefs and SEM for a month, you will come to know the better results. Cheers
