I hate what social media is becoming.

It's definitely going to be a double edged sword.

Yes, a small amount of content that doesn't deserve to be dislike-spammed won't be dislike-spammed.

But long-form propaganda videos (conspiracy, scams, etc) are going to be much, much more problematic.

As YouTuber it's great because there are many haters hit dislike even before they watch the video, but as YouTube watcher it's not really good because for example when I search about problem solving video I will watch alot of fake videos to find the working one

As for myself I don’t care anymore. However, this indication was good. Google thought otherwise. Fair enough. We as the watchers will find something else.

Let’s keep it simple. I don’t need your nord vpn. Show me quality content and have skippable ads (tell your youtube manager or whatever. Not my problem.). Or, show me a platform that i will subscribe. But make sure you don’t run your nord vpn ads there lmao.

Yes, for sure. But I think it's more, they are putting emphasis on eye catching/crazy topics in videos.

This is strange. This might indicate that old videos (prior to the update) retain their dislike count, but videos after the update will not store dislike counts?
