Youtube is removing the dislike button! :O

The change follows an experiment YouTube ran earlier this year whose goal was to determine if these sorts of changes would reduce dislike attacks and creator harassment.

Big brain YouTube, deduced that removing dislike button reduces dislike attacks. I am old enough to remember a time, when Google hired only the best and smartest. Not anymore it seems.

Dislikes can discourage you as a new YouTuber. I think YouTube is up to something special though. Let's see...
 
I don't really see why this is a bad thing.
You can still dislike a video and I guess it will still be used as a measurement of what to show and not to show.

Besides, I have never looked at the like/dislike for deciding if a video is good or bad. I actually never look at the like and dislike count, mostly I look at how many views a video have had.
 
Then they should remove the like button also. If there is no dislike button they why like the button?:(

Yes, which will boost poor videos because people will opt to leave a comment of hate.
This is why shitty videos are booming on Instagram, because people comment their hatred towards the stupidity of the video, which boosts it higher.
