This is really damn good ideaI will comment dislike on each video I don't like
This is a nightmare for anyone who depends on youtube for tutorials and studies (which is nearly everyone btw)...
Like/dislike ratio is the best way to tell if the guy in front is giving correct info or not.
Yes, this is exactly it. Now, it will be even more rewarding for spammy/clickbait videos. This is great news for SMM panels selling likes for videos, since now anyone can instantly make their video seem legit as nobody can dislike it, especially since you can just manually delete any negative comments so any threat of 'spamming negative feedback in comments' is useless.
Absolute disaster for any legit YouTube users/creators.
They give 0 shit about small creatorsFunny explanation given by YouTube:
YouTube said it had also heard from smaller creators and others who were just getting started on the platform that they felt they were being unfairly targeted by dislike attacks. The experiment confirmed this was true — creators with smaller channels were targeted with dislike attacks more than larger creators were.
That is really weird behaviour. I have honestly never met anyone who takes the time to dislike a video (unless it's really bad), and now I see this absurdity. You know what? I have another (conspiracy) theory about why they are doing so.
i know a few people including me who dislike videos anytime there’s a non skippable ad. After I started doing it for quite some time, they started showing me dislike button on the ads itself. I still continued clicking dislike button on the video itself. Content creators please excuse me lol.
If there are more users like me, this won’t be out of the equation.
Adblock does not work on android tv. I did this as an experiment to see what they come up with. And i see it. I have Alteast 3 more users who would do the exact same. It’s not about the creators for me, it’s about youtube showing me non skippable ads. I hate those, and consider this as a revenge. Moral? I couldn’t care less, at least on bhw where people sell dislikes as a service. That is really weird behaviour. Why would you dislike a video based on the ad in front of it? Creators cannot control what ads come on it.
Also, why on earth you're not using adblock?? Wtf?
Also to add to this.. I have prime, Netflix and hotstar premium subscription. If you show me quality videos, I will pay you. Not gonna get red for seeing how nord vpn can help you with your mastarbation habit, and so on. Deliver me quality, will pay you. Otherwise, ouckk fuff.Adblock does not work on android tv. P.s. if you have a kid at home, you will understand the sentiment.
