A few years back I use to run multiple Google Adwords accounts under 1 MCC all using the same domain, title, description, keywords and same billing with all of them using a promo code for $100

Once the $100 promo code was used I would pause that account and move onto the 2nd account.

it worked for awhile but Google caught on, is this method still possible or has Google completely caught onto it?

It's not recommended. I used to do it for myself and I even had 2 really really banned accounts :) connected to the same MCC. 2 months ago I made a very stupid mistake and banned also the "good domains"

I still don't understand how they let me work all these years like that. I wIll never use more than one account again :)

Do that, but not from GAds accounts under MCC. Do it through individual separate GAds accounts. And, the same domain targeting same geo(s), do not run it in more than 1 GAds account at the same time. And do not repeat aame ad copy, account after account : make some changes to ad copy each time.

So if I do it from individual accounts does that mean I can still use the same domain name and same billing.

Once the account uses the $100 promo code I can pause the campaign and account and than move to a fresh new Google Ads account and apply a new promo for the same domain and same billing, will that work?

Currently not advisable,
A little more of separations on Geo's ,and keywords as well as domains gives better result

It almost does not seem worth it having to create a new domain name for every new account just to use $100

Do sub domains or add on domains count as a separate domain in Googles eyes?

In regards to particularly Google Ads :-
Sub-domains : do not run it in more than 1 GAds account at the same time targeting same geo(s).
Addon domains : For example, if the primary domain was 'abc.com' and you assign the Addon Domain '123.com' to the folder '123', the following routes (URLs) would be true :-
abc.com/123
123.abc.com
123.com
All three of these paths would access the same directory and show the same website and if the same landing page, then same content will cause an issue (yes, nowadays GAds review algorithms are beefed up with regards to landing page contents.
(Sorry to answer, as you tagged another member. However, it may be something that you may consider perhaps later, as we all do experimentations to know what works, what does'nt, so atleast you may have it in mind and remember and corelate to this if needed).

So lets say I created 3 separate Google Ads accounts for the sub domains below:

abc.com/123
123.abc.com
123.com

I activate and run abc.com/123 with $100 promo code 1st, once used I stop and pause the account

Then I start account #2 123.abc.com with $100 promo code 1st, once used I stop and pause the account

Then I start account #3 123.com with $100 promo code 1st, once used I stop and pause the account

Will this work?

Can I use the same credit card billing info and same ip address?

Sorry for all the questions.

I use to do this a long time ago with just 1 MCC account and than creating separate accounts in it, cloning the accounts running 1 by 1 all using the same billing but it seems
Google has got smarter and caught onto that,so just trying to find another option.

once used I stop and pause the account
If you will do (used then stop & pause) that for account 1 , then account 2 , then account 3, in that case, you can even use the a same one domain, example abc.com one by one. Because you are not running abc.com at the same time in more than one account.

Ok so when I set up a fresh new Google Adwords account, I enter in the same domain, same keywords, same titles and description can I than use the same credit card billing info and same ip address and on the billing page enter in the promo code, will this work?

Won't Google just pick up on the accounts when they see the same billing credit card and name show up on multiple accounts?
