[Journey] [Experiment] Starting a High Quality Translated Site

Hi there

No Fancy background and All that sort of things.


I started a translated site with a brand new domain a week now, I'm going to build Quality translated articles.
So, i have spare time, and i said to myself why not start a translated site as an experiment, and see if this will work or not, as my goal for this is unknown


I will be translating from English to my target language, as i know and understand 4 languages, so i will put this into the work

The Plan, Alright

I will try to post overall 10-20 articles per month

Already Gathered 14K keywords, for the Infos articles (but i need to filter them out, a pain in the azz, as it will take some time as I'm doing it manually)
Gathered 1300 Affiliate Keywords, the kind of "Best..." need to be filtered as well to be down to 20-30 Kws.

WHAT I'VE DONE SO FAR

- I took a whole F week to customize the site
- Published the first 1,600+ words article on 28/10 (3 days)
- The post indexed the next day and ranked on Page 3

What's the plan for monetization?

I'm not focusing on this right now, my focus is to have some traffic to the site FIRST, then see what works, but the main monetization plan is:

What's The investment for this project?

Only 9$ for the domain, as i already have a hosting plan that i have many other projects on

I will probably be updating this journey once every week, or whenever I hit one of my goals.

It will be a waste of time if i went after this side project alone without having standalone projects, as I'm not relying on this project

I sell Digital Products on eBay And Aliexpress and it does not take more than 3 hours a day on these two projects together

So what comes from this site it will be just a + for me, and IF any $$ comes in the first place , and I'm doing it just for Experiment, as a year now, want to start a translated site, but with studies and all life things didn't help!

No, at this moment I'm writing articles on my own, but after i will be starting translating articles

Quick Update:


Yesterday when i published this thread i also published at the same time a Post on the site that has 1700 handwritten words
And also i found out that 3 links are indexed that are not relative to my site content, i found out when i installed a demo theme i imported all the content and images on the site

Even there is an option in WordPress where you can discourage Google to index your site till it's ready, but that seems didn't work
i search for this issue, and i was able to find a solution for it, thanks to google i was able to remove permanently all the links from the SERP in 24h

the demo content was in English so i was a bit afraid if google will classify it as an English site because of the demo content, but gladly that didn't happen, also i tweaked an option on the search console, basically telling Google this site is targeting this specific region, i think that might helped

Today in the morning also published another 2700 word article

Note: (these 2 articles were handwritten and were ready on a folder i have for this site)

i saw the second article didn't index so, i went ahead and i set up the Google API on my site for quick indexation, as i saw a nice indexing rate, usually takes 24h for the article to index

Update

Content Created:

• Article 1 - 1,841 handwritten words (Created Yesterday)
• Article 2 - 2,974 handwritten words

Even the site went live in JUST 7 days, i see some movement in the SERP
Clicks and impressions, but for now, I'll just keep adding the content and see what happens. i will not be focusing much on these statistics till the 2-3rd month

Im doing pretty much the same thing.
I will use machine translated content as filler and to get some keywords going on Google.
And then I will rewrite and create quality content once results on the translated content starts to show.
