Suppose I point all 40 PBN links to the homepage of a niche website, and most of the anchor texts of PBN links are mainly brand words and naked URLs, thus strengthening the authority of the website.
At the same time, for the keywords I want to rank for, I write at least 1500 words of content around the target keywords, so that the target keywords can be easily ranked?
Or is it better to point these PBN links to articles with target keywords? So as to improve the ranking of keywords.
Which method is better?

This is not a one answers question.
How old is your site?
Does it holds authority already?
If not, point pbn's to the home page.
If yes, you could spread pbn's along home and articles you want to rank.

If you make a PBN link to a blog post, what kind of anchor text is better? Do use exact match anchor text, phrase match anchor text, or bare URL?
There is currently no backlink to this blog post.
thanks

I would recommend to point these PBN links to articles with target keywords. Best of luck!

You normally use "your keyword" as anchor text for the most powerful links and use naked urls and general anchors for weaker links.

PS: I wouldn't use naked urls from my pbn... a waste of pbn IMO

If your site has low-moderate authority, point these links to home page. If you already have high authority, then you can point them to your articles.

If it’s his site and he wants to increase his domain authority, I’d say he give it a shot. He can always change the anchors and target urls

I have some PBN links that use brand words. Then can I delete the existing PBN link and re-publish a PBN article with keywords as anchor text on this PBN website?
Or delete the brand word anchor text link in the same article, and find a keyword as the anchor text in another position of the same post?
Which of the two methods is better? Will there be risks?

a couple of exact and/or partial match anchors wouldn't make any problems,
while adding any more, you'll need to mix it up with naked URL, brand & partially brand anchors,

when it comes to where to point your links,
you should start with the homepage with a brand and naked links to build some overall authority, then you can point the rest of the links depending on your strategy
