I have YouTube channel with 120K Subscribers, i started the channel with funny content and later i start to post content related to health and home. but the channel name is not related to the current niche, so i want to change the channel name. So, My question is, will changing channel name affects the channel growth and views? or Changing the name will give more authority and helps to grow.
Please share your experience and give some suggestions.

Make sure to inform your subscribers, otherwise they might find your videos in their feed and don't recognize your channel. This might lead to lower views or worst case unsubscribers. In general changing the name won't be that much of an issue if you prepare well. But I don't think it will give you any authority or benefits tbh.
