Youtube journey to $600/month

So in a joint venture with @PKR10, I thought id try my luck with YouTube and trying to make a living, id like to preface that I have very little experience with YouTube only running a small channel back in 2017 that got views but not subscribers, but literally everything has changed since then. $600 is just a start, we'll hopeful be able to make much more than that.

Tasks:

1. Monetized YouTube Channel [X]​
2. Hire Voice actor [X]
3. Make social medias for sharing content [X]
4. hire video editor
5. run video ads (both YouTube and Facebook)
6. get tube buddy legend
7. optimize channel and videos

Targets:

1. Target earnings: $1 / Day
2. Target earnings: $5 / Day
3. Target earnings: $10/ Day
4. Target earnings: $20/ Day

I will be uploading videos twice per week and updating this thread at the end of each week.


Current Channel stats:

• 1026 Subscribers (+3 from yesterdays video)
• Earnings: $0.20 so far
• 4 videos (1 video uploaded yesterday)
• Niche: Horror

I no longer have the quiz site, wasn't much support and i couldn't advertise because Facebook kept blocking my ads so I just let it go

Hey folks! I'm the guy doing joint venture on this journey. My role is to optimize the videos for SEO. I've been into SEO for a long time now and never really spent too much time on YouTube. Earlier this year, I tried a few things to see if I can rank some videos and it seemed simple enough.

From what I'm seeing, a lot of youtube ranking signals are social signals (like, view, sub, comment). You can't really optimize for these other than adding CTAs to engage people to do it.

I'll also be ranking some articles around the niche, using video embeds in-article to promote the youtube channel.

I've read about certain channels doing well only after they've run some ads to get recognized. We think throwing some money towards reaching real people is a good move that will get this channel some growth.

Yeah. This works better if you target specific niche and that to specific channels in your niche. Give it a try.

And, if you can do series of videos (if it's possible) on a specific topic and advertise one video within that series, that will give you more yield than promoting a single video. Think about it.
