Curious to hear some feedback on if anyone has received payment in crypto for digital agency work - whether it be web design, seo, graphic design, etc.

I accepted a small amount of bitcoin 10 years ago then lost the hard drive of the old computer shortly after. It was only like 0.2 of a coin still sucks but could have been worse!

That hurts haha, but you’re right. It could’ve been a lot worse. 0.2 Bitcoin is like what, 10K?

If one is selling only non-physical / digital products, then nowadays it is safer to accept only payments such as crypto, etc (on which chargebacks cannot be initiated), if not, then be ready to do a lot of free charity work, because people are now fully aware that incase of card payments, Paypal, etc, incase a buyer has bought a non-physical / digital product using card payment, Paypal, and and even after receiving the non-physical / digital product in good condition, incase the buyer opens a dispute, then nowadays, always, the card issuer, Paypal will favour the buyer only, as the product is a non-physical / digital product. Unfortunately, card issuers and Paypal feel that all non-physical / digital products are defective. This is the reality. And this is why more and more sellers of non-physical / digital product are nowadays only accepting payments such as crypto, etc (on which chargebacks cannot be initiated).
Accept card payments, Paypal, ONLY if your product is a physical product which is physically shipped and you get a trackable proof of shipment.
If a buyer or potential buyer has trust in you and your service, then he or she will not at all hesitate to pay in crypto (nowadays all of us using the internet are familiar with crypto, it is no more something new or something mysterious).

Really interesting feedback. Good comments above about the safety being placed in the sellers hand .. likewise it might also be a security risk for the buyer if the seller runs off.. LOL

You can ask the buyer to use third party site such as seoclerk to gain trust on you or reduce their chance of being scammed by others as well.

Using crypto to receive payments from your clients is one of the best things ever imo. Besides you can not match the fees compared to other methods. For example you can get paid with zero fees with Binance pay from one account to another. I also use Binance to pay my workers up until now and they love it since it's arrived instanty, no fees and pretty safe to use. You can read more here https://pay.binance.com/en
