A (fairly) Easy Method To Make Some Money

This is a fairly high percentage
It's all in the quality of the work and the email that's written. In my 9-5, I spend a fair amount of time liasing with suppliers. That's really helped in writing a convincing sales email for this little trick.

Thanks OP! Awesome post! I'm gonna give this a shot and see how it goes.
I am thinking of creating a one-page company website so it looks more trustworthy than emailing them point-blank where they don't know who I am.

Best if you don't redirect them to a landing page, unless you can get the page to seem really high end

I plan to use the domain for mainly emailing, so it looks more pro than using a Gmail account. If I do set up a one-page website, it will look minimal, or I will put it 'under construction'.

Thank you mate for the method .Pm you with some private question ,please take a look

Why didn't you post them here? So all of us can learn.
No information was shared via DM. I'm not sharing information privately. I put this thread up so we could all learn.
1. How are you reaching these companies?
2. What is the genre of these companies?
Already answered this in the thread.

Let’s test this method out, thanks for the share. ;)

Quick question btw,

Did you include a website look to look more established? Or do you believe this could harm response rate?

Thanks for the response.

For the Christmas example, I contacted 25 restaurants in the surrounding areas to me, and the acceptance rate was 60%, or 15 out of 25.

Is it going to be 60% for everyone? No. Is it a workable method? Yes. Don't just think of this as a Christmas method. You're also free to not take any notice of it as well.

If you're pitching to really competitive cities, then the success rate could be a lot lower. I was asked what my success rate was, and I have it.

It's no different to me asking how much you bench and I'll compare my results to you.

It's also based on the ability of those implementating it to write a convincing pitch, as well as having some artistic ability.

For your suggestion of sending 3,500 emails, I personally wouldn't invest that much time in it because it would be extremely tedious. But hey, each to their own.
Thanks for your answer. 3500 might indeed be a bit ‘too much’ haha

Could you share the pitch you have sent to the restaurants ?

Thank you for your share, but I once tried a very similar method (contacting business with a customized draft made specifically for them) and it didn't work for me. 90% didn't reply and 10% said they were not interested.
One even got upset because I emailed them without their consent, and wanted me to delete their data or else they would report me to the authorities. I had no data about them, I just found their email on their Facebook page.

There's the argument if you have a website, the businesses may think you're doing this for a lot of people, so it's not as "bespoke" or a "one off" specifically made for them. There's still a few businesses out there that are that naïve.

The bonus of this is that you don't need to bother ranking this site in Google for cold emailing the businesses. Plus you can have an email tied to your website. I used Gmail for this and didn't have any issues.

If you've already got a hosting plan, I'd head over to namecheap, get a cheap domain and put together a small website. It wouldn't even need to be a fancy wordpress theme, one of the stock themes would do just fine for this.

Sorry, I can't share this. I don't want a lot of businesses getting the same generic emails. I also don't want someone taking the pitch and selling it as a "guru" course.

No problemo.

That's extremely annoying that it did work out for you. Even more so with the one that got upset about it. Some businesses really do make me wonder how they're still afloat.

Yeah, most business around here don't even have a website and don't want one. They don't really see the potential in having a good online presence. Some use Facebook, but they post like once every 3 months.

Love the idea OP! So it's essentially high quality pictures which they post on their social for whatever particular occasion? Did you try this in a small or big city? I'm assuming more competition in bigger cities.

And would you show them some samples? to build some trust?
