So actually you are selling a picture for 35 pounds?
Give it a tryHonestly I’m doubting this method, seems too good to be true in 2021. Maybe it will work in tier 1 countries, but definitely not in tier 2-3 countries
YesSo actually you are selling a picture for 35 pounds?
It's all in the quality of the work and the email that's written. In my 9-5, I spend a fair amount of time liasing with suppliers. That's really helped in writing a convincing sales email for this little trick. This is a fairly high percentage
He doesn't DM them on Instagram, he said he does via emailThank you OP for the amazing thread. I wonder would the unsolicited DMs put the IG account at risk? Do you use a burner-account?
Best if you don't redirect them to a landing page, unless you can get the page to seem really high endThanks OP! Awesome post! I'm gonna give this a shot and see how it goes.
I am thinking of creating a one-page company website so it looks more trustworthy than emailing them point-blank where they don't know who I am.
I plan to use the domain for mainly emailing, so it looks more pro than using a Gmail account. If I do set up a one-page website, it will look minimal, or I will put it 'under construction'.Best if you don't redirect them to a landing page, unless you can get the page to seem really high end
Why didn't you post them here? So all of us can learn.Thank you mate for the method .Pm you with some private question ,please take a look
1. How are you reaching these companies?Just had a look there at the different companies I've approached. 60% of them went for it.
No information was shared via DM. I'm not sharing information privately. I put this thread up so we could all learn. Why didn't you post them here? So all of us can learn.
Already answered this in the thread.1. How are you reaching these companies?
2. What is the genre of these companies?
Thanks for your answer. 3500 might indeed be a bit ‘too much’ hahaThanks for the response.
For the Christmas example, I contacted 25 restaurants in the surrounding areas to me, and the acceptance rate was 60%, or 15 out of 25.
Is it going to be 60% for everyone? No. Is it a workable method? Yes. Don't just think of this as a Christmas method. You're also free to not take any notice of it as well.
If you're pitching to really competitive cities, then the success rate could be a lot lower. I was asked what my success rate was, and I have it.
It's no different to me asking how much you bench and I'll compare my results to you.
It's also based on the ability of those implementating it to write a convincing pitch, as well as having some artistic ability.
For your suggestion of sending 3,500 emails, I personally wouldn't invest that much time in it because it would be extremely tedious. But hey, each to their own.
There's the argument if you have a website, the businesses may think you're doing this for a lot of people, so it's not as "bespoke" or a "one off" specifically made for them. There's still a few businesses out there that are that naïve.Let’s test this method out, thanks for the share.
Quick question btw,
Did you include a website look to look more established? Or do you believe this could harm response rate?
Sorry, I can't share this. I don't want a lot of businesses getting the same generic emails. I also don't want someone taking the pitch and selling it as a "guru" course.Could you share the pitch you have sent to the restaurants ?
No problemo.Thank you for your share, but I once tried a very similar method (contacting business with a customized draft made specifically for them) and it didn't work for me. 90% didn't reply and 10% said they were not interested.
One even got upset because I emailed them without their consent, and wanted me to delete their data or else they would report me to the authorities. I had no data about them, I just found their email on their Facebook page.
Yeah, most business around here don't even have a website and don't want one. They don't really see the potential in having a good online presence. Some use Facebook, but they post like once every 3 months. Some businesses really do make me wonder how they're still afloat.
