Another step in the wrong direction. I am getting more and more upset about this stupid bullshit.

It's so stupid. They wanna fight cybercrime, but obviously have no idea how to do it. Why would anyone give a flying fuck about real information? If this law gets through then the real cybercriminals will just host their websites via a hoster through the dark-web. And nothing will change.

In my opinion this serves the agenda of "ID 2020" where they want to create a digital identity of every single person. Everything you do on the internet, everything you pay money for, who you are connected with, etc.

IMO companies like FB set a precedent, they showed the world that people will bend over and accept measures like identity authorization etc just to be able to like some pictures make status updates on a social network.
Mobile apps provided further evidence of the fact that people are more than willing to hand over personal information, phone numbers to be able to play a game or browse an app.
I'm not surprised governments have woken up to just how much control they can exert over the populance, and most of us will just lie down and take it because we're so used to the convenience. As with most measures, this will not affect the actual criminals because they will easily figure out ways to bypass identity authorization.

Buy a phone number for $1 and stop bitching. In case they require ID-s (and they will), just buy a fake ID ($20) to register the "shady" domains. Here's something that will never happen: registrars verifying ID-s in real-time by connecting to gov's social security data centers. So any ID will fly, as the registrars can't know it's real. However, if they receive complaints, they can get a court order & require a manual verification with the proper gov services. In that case, burn that ID and start over.
