Paypal Account Banned - How to fix?

UPDATE:

Thank you for contacting PayPal regarding the permanent limitation that was placed on your PayPal account. I am sorry you feel this way with regards to the account limitation.

PayPal is country specific and functionalists vary from country to country, in the event that you change residency it is required that you close the account and create a new one in the correct country of residence. Once you provided your proof of identity and proof of address our internal department would have reviewed the submitted documentation and found that you are not residing in X.

I have escalated the decision made to permanently limit your PayPal account to our internal department. I have asked them to review and re-consider as I understand your frustration. Please allow for the review and kindly monitor your inbox over the coming 48 hours for this correspondence.

What do you think?
It's probably going to be a no but I'm genuinely surprised they even responded lol. When I used to do more business with Paypal it would take weeks for them to give some generic bot response that wasn't remotely related to what I was asking.

Hello guys.

I have some updates in my " Recover Paypal Journey " haha.

So, I tried and tried - same like above, explanations.. things. Ok. It was worst: They told me the only thing is to wait and get the funds back in 180 days.

And I was like Oh, ok. The BHW guys knew what they are talking about.. Paypal is crazy. I'm done with it.

So, this was the end..

UNTIL NOW.

They messaged me earlier to send them some proof (bill or something else) that will show I live at that address in my home country.

Good lord, I instantly send them some phone invoices.

I am so confused right now - don't know what to believe anymore. Hope I don't make myself false expectations.

Gonna tell you soon guys how it ends.

Hello,
I sold some digital services online until I reached some limits. After this, I was asked for documents and all send all of them.
They told me into the chat they will review in 3-5 days.
After a few minutes, when I'm trying to enter Resolution Center I received a message that my account was permanently banned due to violating terms.

Is there a chance I can get it back? If not, what should I do in order to continue my selling? Also had some funds 300E, I read if I'm banned i can take them after 180 days.
wait for 180 days to get your funds or make a new paypal account and start over again

I have been using the same PayPal business account selling SMM services for 5+ years now and never had any issues. Even customer disputes, I will win the case as the seller all the time. How was you putting the description for services sold? or are you sending a lot of payments through friends and family? Also any problems I find actually ringing PayPal support and speaking to them gets you a lot further than using the message system on their website.

Your message could make people who dont know better lose their paypal accounts. Dont do that.

I bet youre masking what you sell one way or another, or your type of SMM service isnt the regular type. Social media management isnt the same as social media marketing.

Whatever the case, im mostly replying for people who are just starting smm or whatever and dont know what precautions to take and how to behave when it comes to getting paid on their paypal account.

You cant sell SMM services with paypal in an open and honest way. Sooner or later... But mostly sooner your paypal account will be permanently suspended and they may not even give you your money back after 180 days.

If you listen to the person i quoted and you go to paypal with a big sign that says "I sell social media services likes/followers/views woohoo" you will lose your paypal account.

Firstly, apologies if it came across like this. Im just trying to share my experience with it. It is social media marketing, an SMM panel to be exact. Regardless, payments for digital services whether it be for account balance or digital services provided its important to not put the payment descriptions as thing like: '"charge for 10000 Instagram followers" and more like: "Balance recharge" or "Marketing services provided"
Yes I would encourage people to do research as with everything so you are not potentially breaking terms of service and loosing access to your money.
The main reason I see a lot of people getting accounts banned or put under review is because they avoid paying fees on sending payments or requesting everyone sends them friends and family only.
Also suddenly starting to receive or send big payments compared to the business you usually do is usually a red flag for PayPal.

My main point is, it can be done and personally I would loose a lot of business if I no longer accepted PayPal as for some it is their only option to pay. Do research or reading into terms of PayPals service to cover yourself. If you feel uncomfortable having funds locked up then make regular withdrawals to make sure you aren't caught short. Also always use business accounts and never personal.

This :)

They told me the only reason was that I am in another country than where I sign up and I had address.

Through paypal woocomerce. So no family & friends. I paid fees, winning all cases

They kept over £30k of mine and on day 181 released it to my UK bank account.

You can try filing a complaint on BBB or CFPB. it worked for me. but they don't always lift the limitation on your account. Since you were selling high risk item (digital), your chance of getting it back is very low.
