I'm looking to grab all of my competitors silo's and to see how they've mapped out the links to money content from info articles. Google came up short.

In order to obtain your competitors silo, you must first observe their patterns and identify which silos are used the most. You can then take those back from them at a critical moment, causing them not to have the right materials for future production.

In general, a business tries to maintain a healthy balance of its inventory so it doesn't run out of materials needed for production too soon - if demand is high enough or other external pressures force this inventory management off track, however, there may be periods where an asset becomes more important than another and one takes precedence over the other depending on timing and location - what could be at stake in this situation is that one's ability to create products might become impaired without access to certain silos

Are you a bot?

This reply has zero to do with what was asked....

Reported. asswipe!

I don't know of a ready made tool to automate this.

It's probably some heavy duty graph processing. If they're not too many, I'd just draw a rough sketch on paper and see if I found some pattern.

I'm not too sure what you've just said?

I think you can do it with a software like screaming frog. I am not 100% sure though, I haven't used it in a very long time, but basically any crawler can do it.

I've not done it for a long time, but SeoRuler or Minion does this if memory serves. Screaming Frog shows the basic structure for sure for internal links..

Thanks. Yeah, that's what I've been doing. It's just really tedious. I'm wondering maybe if theres a way to use sitemap to, but doubtful.

Thank you both! I'll check them out. Generally speaking, I imagine it's not wise to completely copy my competitors silo structure, right? Do you think this would affect me when google recrawls my site?

Ah okay!

@Dankedydank Another way to do this is if he has the silo, in the URL structure. e.g. site.com/silo1/post1, site.com/silo1/post2, site.com/silo2/post1 .. you can just download all of his URLs from ahrefs and throw them in Excel then use the Search & find functions.

If it's working well for them, then it will work well for you in theory, but common sense says not to do a 100% copy.

Thanks. Looks like they're smarter than that. Screaming frog looks like my go too.

@MisterF pointed out that Screaming Frog isn't going to do this. Go ahead and download all of their keywords from ahrefs/semrush and cluster them, google 'keyword clustering tool', the tool will group all the related KW together, each group is a silo.

Wouldn't Screaming frog get the job done? Either the Crawl or Directory tree graph?
