Adsterra - damn low CPM

I'm testing out different networks for static banners. I'm using 300x250 banner from adsterra and their revenue is a joke, an insult:


So if anyone wants to buy some cheaps ads, try adsterra Not for publishers thou.


Any better out there? I'm looking for a movie related website

What GEO are you talking about here? Also, the CTR is very low, most likely your traffic is not converting for advertisers. Try to run your traffic with a mainstream smartlink (not to earn money) but to test if your traffic is able to convert. If your traffic can convert, you revenue with adsterra would automatically be increased.

Nowadays traffic network are paying top dollars for traffic that convert but paying almost zero to traffic that do not convert.

Dont use Adsterra banners, they doesnt work like Adsense does or other networks. With Adsterra you only get paid if a person who clicked on your Banner AD completes an Offer. If he just sees the banner, you wont get a penny.

You can get 500000 impressions but if nobody will complete the offer you will still get $0. They mostly serve CPA ads (signups, email/pin submits, etc..).

This is why adserra is only useful for Direct Links ads or Popups.

There are better Banner Ad networks out there. Have a look on the Forum and you'll see.

It is not just about the GEO but the traffic quality as in whether does it convert for any offer. Advertisers are measuring a lot of stats nowadays so Traffic network are working hard to ensure only the highest quality traffic are served. Advertisers will only spend more if they are profitable. With more spending means higher rate and revenue.

I also have low conversions with Adsterra sometimes, but sometimes it has enormous conversions. I think it depends on your traffic

ditched adsterra. using hooligan ads and a-ads(also pays out in crypto)
they are sooo much better
