What is difference between a successful and a unsuccessful Internet Marketer?

I am doing affiliate marketing for a year and have only managed to earn only $54. I think my lack of consistency and zero funds to spend on the website is holding me back.

Luck is a factor but more than that, is an excuse for those who fail and don't take responsibility for their failures. Making money online is quite easy once you learn how to, and as long as someone has basic skills, puts perseverance and hard work sooner or later will crack it.

Successful people are those who can create different income assets and keep them going for many years. Answering op question, I believe this is a matter of hard work, experience, perseverance, intelligence, scaling, and reinvesting most of the money into work related projects

You basically answered your own question if you have no money to invest then any business will fail if you have not budget to rank up any SEO site requires spending money every month in most cases if not your competition will start out ranking.

Online businesss compared to traditional businesses are lot cheaper to start since as long as you have a computer and internet access and you can buy a domain name for like $6 +$5=$11 per month for the basic so a lot cheaper than the cost of rent or mortgage of physical business and less tax to pay as well normally.

To rank up a site it will be down to you doing a lot of work per month and spending on things to boost your such as backlinks time or money wise,good onpage,Ahrefs,Semrush,Scrapebox among other software you make like or want .

A Successful one will had made okay to good money online such as being able to use that money to buy a house,car or something else expensive,improved their life one way or another as well.

Unsuccessful one will normally be like this

1. Always complain
2. Never do anything requiring time or effort to make it happen
3. Have no money to invest or very little
4. Not a technical mind
5. Always buy a course as like a quick way to learn of fake gurus.

However, I realize that many factors contributed to it that I had no control over. For example, I was born in a first world country and had access to free education. In addition, business opportunities arose for me that were more of a coincidence. Sure, I also work 70 hours a week. However, if we take it exactly, even the willingness to work hard is to a certain extent genetically determined and therefore coincidental.

What I was getting at with my post, however, is survivorship bias. I just wanted to point out that the base rate has to be taken into account when comparing the characteristics of successful and unsuccessful people.
If you want to know whether a certain character trait or a certain method leads to success you have to take the succesful and the unsuccessful people into account. Not only the succesful.

Yup, Well said! That's why I am learning front end web development. So, that I don't depend solely on Internet marketing and also have some money from job to invest into website. But I want to ask how do people manage a full-time job with internet business? Is it a bad idea or good idea?

Thanks.Sounds good well to be honest most people generally have other jobs while doing SEO work many people do it part time for example say you are an accountant you may then spend 10 hours doing SEO work per week but you pay others to do the SEO work for you so then your SEO sales goes up while you do your full time job then if you make enough money from the SEO stuff then you turn your online business into your full time job.

This is what I am scared of. I was a hard-working guy and had a decent academic grades. However, everything changed after 10th. I got really low marks in 11th and got failed in 12th class. Then after 12th, I failed one year in b.tech. I try really hard, but these failures have really demotivated me.

If you look into rich people a fair amount of them can't read or write at all but either way are millionaires or richer as well so your education does not govern your success level in a lot of cases.

A lot of businesses now prefer people without degrees for jobs since most people now know a degree is a piece of paper not you learning powerful information to make you good at something just you remember theories or how to answer questions in most cases for college or university often.

For example one of my friends was high ranking manager for Tesco he had to shop his Store manager who got a degree here is why in his own words" The guy would always be doing wrong things then doing stupid things at work which made no sense to me when I asked him why he was always doing wrong things at work management wise he would tell me back I have a Business Management Degree he told me to do so got to follow it after a month of him keep getting worse and worse I had to sack him which is why I believe the degree will sometimes make people more inconifdent at work than average high school kid"

Under no circumstances should you be discouraged by school grades. What Polecat says is 100% true. I don't know how old you are, but I'm sure you will learn this soon enough.

There are a lot of people on microworkers sites who earns maximum $5 daily and they are working a few hours every day...
So the hard works pays off is not true...
5 minutes smart work is better then 8 hours work on microworkers site...
