Hi guys,

If I purchase 5 pbn links, can I direct them all to the same url to get better rankings? Or would this be too much?

Thanks as always

Of course you should point them all to same URL you need to rank.
Even 100 of them.

But be careful about cheap PBN links here - it can lead to penalty.
At best it does not improves your rankings.
1 link from PBN domain should cost you more than $100 yearly if it is good.
Also, make sure mix your backlinks profile with other links - such as web2.0, forums, comments.

Ok thanks for that. Its for local seo site which I am ranking on second page for main keywords. And I'll definitely mix in other links!

of course you can. They are your links, you can do whatever you want with them.

But beware of the anchor texts!
Great thanks! Can you please explain what to beware of concerning the anchor texts?

I mean, do not use a lot of exact match anchor texts cause this will trigger one of the important spam algorithms (panda, or penguin, I don't remember which one).

You said you'll purchase 5 links. Well (especially if your site is new and has no/few backlinks), do not link back to your site/page with the same anchor text 5 times or, worse, with the exact match keyword 5 times. For example, assuming you want to rank for the keyword "teach puppy how to stop barking" you don't want all 5 backlinks to link back to your site with the anchor text "teach puppy how to stop barking". This will mark your site as spam 100%. Just use that anchor text only once, and make the other 4 anchor texts generic: click here, this website, this page, our blog, visit us today, more info, etc

I have some data on google search console for the last 4 months with my site. So using the queries from google search console as my anchor text in order to try and rank higher for the specific queries would not be a good idea?

distribute anchor text with multiple variations and you can have 100s of PBN links.
If site is about 4 months old, can I push more pbn links and do it more frequently until I start to rank for my main keywords?

you can use those queries, just not abuse them. Use each query once or twice every 10-12 backlinks

5 links to the same url is fine, but keep the anchor text natural :)
Appreciate that. Since I am new to seo, specifially local seo, for some reason I thought I should be only sending one pbn link at a time. Notice some increase in ranking but out of my 10 local site, only 1 reached first page and the rest are 2nd page and up.

Glad to know that it is more than 1 pbn link at a time. And just starting to understand the importance of anchor text although i still have so much to learn!

in the long run, its cheaper if you create your own PBN.
then you have full control and dont risk buying into a link farm that isnt a real PBN.
any network that sells links to many customers on the same sites is not a real PBN.
a real one is only for you, thats the whole point of a PBN. hence the name "private backlink network" and not "public backlink network" ;)

No worries :) Remember to go for quality backlinks over quantity with your link building.

I appreciate the advice! I looked into it a few weeks and it looked like very intimidating considering the fact that I am still new and still learning.

As I get better, I do plan on learning how to make my own since my goal is to create and rank 100 local websites in the same industry. So I can definitely see the amazing benefits of doing this since im in it for the long term.

I guess it wouldnt hurt to start learning about this now!
