Should I buy this domain?

Hello,

I found a good domain name that I would like to buy. It has some nice keywords in it (3 short words)

It costs $200, but I made sure to do a background check online, it seems it has no content in google, or web archive, and no backlinks.

I checked the "DNS history" and it seems that its records have been changed 8 times, and the domain was dropped 2 times.

So based on the following data, my question is, Is this domain safe to use for my future website that will bring traffic organically (SEO) ?

Look it up with ahrefs and look for fishy links, you can also look on archive.org to see what the old owners did on that domain.

Yes i read it in a rush from my phone, if there are no backlinks you are paying 200$ just for a name, so that domain is as good as a new one from an authority point of view.

If i want to buy an expired domain, i want one that has a strong backlink profile and has good name, paying 200$ just for the name is not worth it in my opinion.

it's a waste of money,
buying expired domains are done mainly for their previous authority/traffic & the links they still hold,
if the domain doesn't have any of these, it won't help, you'll be throwing your money away

Thank you for the advice. The domain indeed doesn't have any SEO value beside just the appeal of its name.

If the domain doesn't have any good backlinks (check via Ahrefs) and if the domain has been dropped previously after acquiring those, I would not purchase this domain

I already checked in Ahrefs, and other SEO tools, it only shows two backlinks with are of no relevance, some random directory, and a scan site page.

Doesn't a domain name with keywords relatively close to the keywords of articles can have a boost in SEO?
