Real video of someone just driving around and filming surroundings. I've been to San Francisco many times in the past on business trips had the most homeless and crackheads that I've ever seen. NYC was like 1/10th of how bad San Francisco used to be (haven't been since COVID) but Philly seems to be San Francisco on steroids.

Has anyone seen anything worse before? Maybe instead of filming The Walking Dead type shows in Georgia's movie sets they can do it for less on location on the streets of Philadelphia and casting agents don't have to look for any extras.

Back in the day at my old job we would go to lunch to nearby park and there was a methadone clinic nearby. We called group of crackheads hanging out after getting their shots MATRIX and that was because they would stand in the middle of the street bent into weird shapes (ie. Neo bending backwards & freezing as in his famous shooting scene). You can see inside Neo in thumbnail & throughout the video. :)

I fail to understand this
Is this a movie or something?
why is there some much trash around?
are all those people homeless?
Is it always like that?
that shit feels extremely hostile...

All big cities have places as this, it's not like in movies. :)

Kensington is North Philly... I'm sure there have been Zombies living there since Lincoln was President.

Reminds me of the movie/book

i am not sure about the US, but here in our city we do H and I, plus other activates to pick up addicts and put them in meeting rooms.

That is capitalism at it´s best, fck anyone that don´t make it, I got a Lambo, who cares about others mentality, the land of the free.

If there is a system ever invented that's better I'd be all for it. Capitalism is far from perfect, but as it stands.. it's the best we have.

So the American way of life, is the best system? They have a wealthy country, but can´t take care of their homeless and addicted people, great system.

178 million people in the US a tiny percentage are homeless. Ask any outreach worker in Manchester and they will tell you the same thing. They could have a nice safe bed and 3 squares with a shower.. but they choose not to. If its the same in the US as happned in the UK .. it was the the do gooding liberals who decided that it was unfair to make people with severe mental health live in a secure facility. They needed to be integrated into society.. that's what your seeing in the video the results of social signalling by people with mental health problems on other people with worse mental health problems.
