Is this guide good enough for a private label brand as well. I am from India and was looking to start a direct to consumer brand in India with Amazon being the core marketplace.

Pmed you all discount codes. we're in Q4 which is the highest volume of sales in the year (due to xmas and holidays) if you were to start an amazon business, I suggest that you get in before November . November - December are always my most profitable months of the year.

you could thats 1 way to launch a product, you dont have to though ... there are multiple ways to launch a product successfuly
you could do it organically (if you pick the right keywords which is discussed in the guide) or if its too competitive I do recommend paid ads which can be any form of paid traffic that can send relevant traffic to the listing page
amazon ppc is the obvious choice in that case.
