So a week or two ago I was in a training class that was very boring in another city. I was bored so I was playing poker on my phone to pass the time. The couple sitting next to me ask me what site I was playing on and I told them and I told them if they visited one of my websites and clicked the link (it was an affiliate link from maxbounty) they would get a 200% deposit credit. Before long I had about half the class playing poker from my affiliate link. I had seven total sign up but I really only talked to a few of them very much during the class that sit near me but I showed them how to play so I knew they clicked my link and made a deposit.
The program was suppose to pay $140 per sign up so I thought thats cool it will pay for my trip. But days go by and nothing shows up in my maxbounty account. So I email the people who signed up and they sent me a screen shot of their sign up and I go to my rep at Maxbounty and ask why I was never paid. I provided her at least one user name of the users who signed up (I didnt want to tell them there were several before I knew how they would reply).
So I get a message back that says "I have some bad news. The advertiser of Red Dog has completely disregarded the information we sent over and has in turn pulled you from the offer. We are in talks with him now about this and I am pushing to pull the offer from our network. Very sorry about this."
I have spoke with several of the people who signed up and it makes me wonder how many of us they screw over out of sign ups. They are fast to ban accounts if they suspect fraud but they have no responsibility when they are caught committing fraud. I am seriously considering filing a civil suit because it would at least open up discovery and force them to turn over documents to see how often this really happens.
