Hi Support/Moderators,

My Jr VIP had lapsed for a few days this month as I was away on a small family getaway, I've renewed my JR VIP membership but my BST which was auto closed, hasn't been auto reopened. How can I get this sorted promptly, please?

*
A few customers also brought this to my attention recently, so trying to avoid creating possible anxiety for new and established customers as being active for years without issues and auto shut might look bad or just cause unnecessary anxiety even for paid customers. Will appreciate the assistance here.

Thanks as always guys.

I think you could have just written to support about this or contacted a moderator directly before posting publicly. Anyways I hope your issue is resolved soon enough

Visit support.blackhatworld.com and submit a ticket with your BST link included.

I actually did submit a support ticket first before following up here. There is some kind of BHW error here I am trying to correct but I am limited on play here, so had to post here.

Report IMod or mod on your bst, or better open a support ticket that’ll speed it up for you

That, I did not do, doing so now to see @Mr Positive . Thanks for this one.

You can also email: [email protected], the support system here is not the only way to get help, good luck and hope you get it resolved.

Appreciate you @ContentExpert , odd not to see you as a mod yet with your polite/patient replies to others through the years now (definitely noticeable consistency from my end), and quite shocked not to see a previous client and super moderator @MisterF without the moderator badge here, perhaps by decision, definitely interesting. Things have definitely changed a bit and I am not so up to date as of yet :anyway:

My last submissions are attached as I should keep handling this delicately based on 2016-2017 and beyond experiences through the years, as a big slip and is a possible warning for anything remotely close to unacceptable.

have you tried pinging a market place mod for advice

I haven't tried the specific one above @proxygo , appreciate the great one. It is also the weekend and I bet there aren't many active moderators on the payroll to work my stuff, so going step by step based on suggestions provided as received through support and through the ones nicely given from experienced folks like you here. So with your great experienced feedback given...

Hello @Zwielicht , I'd definitely appreciate your input and for sure, possible swift resolution by its merit in my active service situation. I am trying to get my retired military vet behind out of trouble here with mods, so going step by step, delicately here. Can you kindly assist on what should be a very simple situation? I saw in your profile you are active from Saturday to Thursday here at BHW, so I believe tagging you instead of sending you a PM would be the most appropriate here.

Here's my 3rd follow up response sent to support through email this time (not ticket system, as the first ticket is now closed for further replies):

* I went into full details for a possible swift resolution. Kindly/please let me know if you need anything specific or added feedback from the possible BHW "extended listing" glitch, Zwielicht. I am not sure what's happening, but it's the weekend for many, yet not for us, so I am fully aware here.

Thanks to everyone so far, I am confident everything will get resolved soon.

Hello @SeoPublicist,

I've looked into your issue, and to summarise, your marketplace thread expired on August 2nd. You were sent three separate notices automatically by our system, along with a final notice that your thread has expired and that you have an additional 1 week grace period to renew it before it's permanently locked. The messages you were sent are below for your reference:
In addition to these PM notices, you can find this expiration date at the top of your thread, and I've already confirmed that it expired August 2nd.

I did notice on the support ticket that there was some confusion over the thread's expiry date. For clarification, the image that was sent to you was meant to be a general example so you know what the renewal button looks like; it was not an image of your thread's expiration date. Also, keep in mind that if you're going to send in a follow-up response to the support desk, please note that 3 hours is not enough time between responses to warrant a follow-up message.

I understand you took a vacation and perhaps did not see this coming, but I'm afraid it's not the responsibility of BHW to take the vacations of sellers into account. It is up to your own due diligence to ensure your service is accounted for in your absence, in the same way any business must operate. If you're not going to be on the forum, there's an option to enable e-mail notifications for PMs you receive on the forum so that you can still receive updates whilst offline. Additionally, I'd suggest marking important dates on your calendar to avoid this situation happening again in the future.

Of course, I'm not going to leave you hanging here, so to explain what you need to do now to have your thread re-opened, you're going to have to pay the annual $30 thread renewal payment for your sales thread. However, since you've missed the 7-day grace period to re-open your BST through the system, you'll need to go through the process manually. To do this, you'll have to send in another support ticket and request that an invoice be sent so that you can pay $30 to have your sales thread re-opened manually. Unfortunately, I cannot handle this for you as I do not have the ability to send invoices, so the process of re-opening your sales thread is entirely down to the support agent that handles your ticket. I have left a note on your most recent support ticket so that the agent understands the situation.

Per the forum suggestion and feedback process, I have to close this thread now that you've received instructions on what to do and now that there's no longer anything that can be done outside of support at this juncture. I did note that you're concerned about losing business, so I left a notice in your BST that links back to this thread and also explains that you're in the process of renewing your service listing.
