I turned $50 into $8000 in 2007-2008 with cashgame (NL5 =>......=>NL50-NL100) and lots of bonuses, and from $35 to $2500 in 2017-2018 with MTTs (0.25$ =>...=> 5$).

I've tried higher limits, but I'm not good enough to be a big winner, so the additional earnings are little but the variance increases greatly.
And more importantly, the games are boring without players doing silly things.

I played poker intensively about 7 years ago and even built a mini-career, however it was too boring for me - online there was no guarantee that the sites weren't manipulating etc.

Then I played offline, in hotel casinos (sometimes gray zone, because many countries declare casinos illegal).
Was fun too, especially when old, rich people came to just show-off in front of their wives.

From the math point of view, there are a couple of very good books that will make an offline cashout much easier )

I played before but I think I lost money and never went back. I tried the tournament and I tried playing casual and while I won a few times I literally just got wiped entirely after.

I think it was also on pokerstars, I even made Skrill account just to deposit to them lol

PLO is way more fun to play, but NLHE is a little safer when it comes to coolers.

I play NLHE and PLO.

PLO is way more fun to play, but NLHE is a little safer when it comes to coolers.
