According to Sharkscope, my overall ROI in those was around 14% using an avg rebuy of 2.3 to adjust rebuys because, as you know, sharkscope is not too accurate tracking these.
I remember now, later I had to drop my table count because these games were getting tougher and tougher to beat.
Staking stables stared to appear like flies and the games filled with regulars.
In the end, I was playing 8-12 tables on average.
Funny enough, my ROI was the same.
But over my last year, PokerStars made some critical changes to their VIP reward program and even to those 180s making them like the On-Demand SNG over FullTilt. Meaning, The game started every hour regardless of how many people registered and it had a late registration period.
I didn´t play these for too long because it was around the time my country was hit with big electrical and internet issues and I wasn´t able to continue playing poker.
Still, I was able to play around 2,000 games every month with an ABI of around $10ish.
But, when I added MTTs I had to cut back the number of 180s tables to heavily focus more on them.
I still played them to reduce the variance a bit.
With this setup, I was loading 800-1200 tournaments a month + 300-500 SNGs
ROI was pretty much the same, although it was over a small sample and ABI was a bit higher since I was loading MTTs up to $22 and $55 on Sundays.
My biggest cash was actually in The Bigger 10 on a Sunday where I finished 3rd for $7.2k. My AQs crashed against QQs in an all-in preflop situation (The guy end it up playing heads-up and made a deal with the other guy for almost $16k
