Google's New Design?

Has anyone else seen Google's new design? I just opened my browser, went to Google's homepage, made a search, and was immediately stunned when I saw how the page looked like. I clicked the homepage link to Google and it gave me this new logo and the front page was much cleaner.

Though after I closed my browser and opened it up again, I'm getting the old Google once again. So I was wondering if any of you have noticed something similar as well.

I have been using this scheme for a month now. Its like playing the Wii. Pretty simple, no changes in much else but organization.
