Spamdexing: how does it work and how to make it doable ?

Hi, while doing some keyword research for a specific niche, I accidentally found a huge "network" of spamdexing hitting google pretty hard for a big amount of keywords. Some details about its structure:

- thousands of expired domains . Each domain contains 500 - 2500 internal php pages. Everything is redirected with 302 temporary redirect ( used redirectdetective.com to check this) to another domain which kinda acts as a doorway for a second , and then finally all the traffic ends up on a popular affiliate network. You can´t really see the content of any of the internal php pages. But the text appearing on the snippet is totally junk, unrelated and unreadable. So no way they are ranking because of quality content.

- All the domains are hosted in cloudfare ( I guess they are using the free plan ,otherwise hosting all those domains will be costly) . Used hostingchecker.com to get this info

- They target low competition keywords on this niche, even for some query searches, they rank with 8 or 9 different domains.
- using webrate.org says that they get 25.000 UVs / day in total.
- I tried to download / scrape internal links / check html or php code of a few of these domains and nothing comes in. Not using scrapebox or similar software.

first I would like to congratulate the people behind this , for laughing at google this way . At least, they have been doing this method for the last 3 years , by checking the registration date of their main domain collecting all the traffic at the end.

now, here comes the big question for the SEO experts on the forum:

how to do Spamdexing , this way , without being screwed by google ?

I am setting up a small spam network in Google, if it can be, I would be interested to know what URL you are talking about.
I'm not a bad person, I'm just curious and interested in learning something new.
I totally respect that you have not published the URL in the posts, I would not like it either.
You have made a good post, I congratulate you.

I think that you discovered the network of domains of one of BHW's member. It's an ongoing journey where the OP is currently stuck at 7500 dollars per month. Do some research here and you'll know who I'm talking about. @stallion45d

I found this URL.. maybe is a Spamdexing example ?

fsi[dot]com[dot]es/seguridad.php?opcion=2&u=es/noticias/sicur-2016

Look at random pair letters, all of this link at "spamdexing" domain...

it looks like the site has been hacked and the owners ( a Spanish company providing health and safety service for workers) even hasn´t noticed of it.

Could you please PM me a link? It is very interesting.
Thank you.

Ok, so a good friend of mine manage to code a PHP creator, which is able to create as many internal pages as you like in matters of minutes.

So next steps are ( in order to not make noobs mistakes) how to fill each internal page with the proper content and , for sure , how to do the cloacking to fool google.

here comes a couple of questions:

1) how do you properly cloak the affiliate link?

2) how would you define a proper link content? how many words should the link have? some pics too?

Thank you all guys.

1) you dont only cloak the affiliate link, you send real users directly to the affiliate URL and show only search engine bots the real site.
2) the link is not what matters for keywords, you need to create content for the whole page that also has some on-page seo.

Thank you for the reply. What is the best way for the cloaking part?
About creating content and the on Page seo, I have seen other spamdexing Networks in html and by checking the cached version I Saw their content is just 2000 words totally making no sense. So this is bit confusing

lmao on-page seo

it's not confusing at all

you have to give google keywords, not well written content, could be a mix of words only that give long tail keywords

as the entire content is acting as a meta-data, when user type a keyword google will serve from that 2000 words...simple

that's why content is mess, because it's not important to have on-page seo or any kind of structure, but for visibility only

for cloaking check this: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/cloaking-explained-for-beginners.957009/
as for content well you can also rank with smaller content, so 2000 words can work as well.

you dont need well written content, but the structure and keyword distribution i.e. have keywords in heading tags and the title etc so this is part of on-page seo.
if you dont have any of that you won't rank unless for some random long tails maybe.

1)Create a list of keywords
2)Scrape bing first 100 results for each keyword (python). Now you have a long text, split in sentences, shuffle sentences and split the new text in paragraphs (or create a markov version of text).
3)Post articles to your blog

thank you for the reply, I mean confusing , because it is said here on the forum that a site can never rank if we don´t post a native hand written 2.000 words article on it ( which costs 10 bucks, by the way) and that spun content is just for tier 3 and blablabla.
I agree with you , pure spam ranks. I have seen it on a few spamdexing networks already.

its just showing a (302) redirect as it should be to hide the cloaking.
if they didnt disable caching then as suggested in the last post, you can try to see if google has a version of the site in its cache.

re-reading the whole thread again, a new question came up to my mind:

is there any way to see the content ( text ) of a site with a 302 redirect if the caching is disable ?

Some pictures appear on google images, but I would like to see the type of plain text that is included.

if its just simple cloaking you can try to use googlebot as your useragent, but proper cloakers will do rDNS checks so that method wouldnt work either.

Is there a tool available to scrape the SERPS for keywords? And why Bing instead of Ggl?

In my opinion bing is easier to scrape than google and provide a searching api. Search "bing scraper" and you will find a lot of tools.

You can visit the site as Googlebot or download entire site and manually check individual pages.

Spamdexing or however you call it is numbers a game, you just keep build out sites and see what sticks.
Quoted for truth.

You need to have a massive network. Also, keep in mind many of your domains will get hit by a penalty.

Do you mean the cached version?. All the internal pages are under the noarchive attribute.

A friend of mine is totally obsessed into discovering all the shortcuts of this Network. Putting many hours on it.
He has developed the scripts , but every day new things come Up.

It does not Matter what Word of the dictionary + main keyword you do a query for, a domain of this Network Will turn Up. Impressive, I must say. We are already doing tests with a 7 yo clean domain I own .

Another thing we worry about is indexing the links. I tried speedlinks for another spammy project and after 17 days, results are way far from expected, being honest. Any tips for the indexing part?
