I don’t use any headings on this site. Just the title post title that shows up as H1 through the theme.

You can select any text on the long form editor and convert it into a h3 heading. I don’t think headings are possible in any of the templates like outline, intro etc.

I have a site with 10-15 articles (human writtend) already ranking and I'm curious to switch to an AI generated content blog.

Already uploaded a new article in this blog, written with CONVERSION.AI.
It ranked!

Point is that this article has not been written BY ai, but WITH ai. So... it is a good content.

This is - for me - the point: letting ai write articles without touching them or rewriting, editing etc.

I think is it possible to rank ai generated content that have been edited, but what about articles entirely written by AI WITHOUT touching them?

You can rank anything. Spun content, duplicate content, gibberish etc. So there’s no reason why “untouched“ content won’t rank.

But I don’t do that because I monetize through ads and the premium ad networks manually check the sites they allow onto the network. Also, the plan is to sell the site in a few months and it’s harder to sell sites with crappy content.

I've followed your thread for quite a while now and I want to point out that you're working very smart.

Around half a year ago I created the first website for the only purposing of blogging, and wrote around 50 articles, all of them 800-2000 words with images, etc. After they aged a bit, I found out that just 10-20% of them brought most of the traffic.

Now, for new keywords I will work like you did: Write 100-300 words max. focusing on answering the question.

The incredibly smart thing about this is, we can cover a lot more keywords in a shorter period of time, and when a very short article shows up (high) in the serps it's a good indicator that it's rankable. When it does we can add more content later on. The ones that don't show up at all, don't have high priority though.

This might not be a technical thing like keyword research, backlinks, on-page, etc. but strategically this is something I wish I would have done right from the beginning.

Do you write an intro paragraph with Conversion.ai and then another one answering the question? Or do you go straight into the paragraph answering the question?

By no competition do you mean keywords that show 0 search volume in keyword tools, but show up as google suggested keywords when you start typing into the search bar? Or do you mean keywords that don't show up even as suggested keywords in Google but you know that people could be searching for it because the topic is trending or there are related phrases for which the article could rank?

A lot of AI content generation tools have been popping up recently. I was wondering whether the content will be able to rank so I thought of trying it out and making a journey out of it.

So, I found a no competition niche. I generally try and get snippets on Google so this niche should be perfect for that. Basically, it's the same question that's being asked about different products. The question can be answered in one line. It shouldn't take more than a minute or so to find the answer to each question. That's the only research I'll need to do.

I saw a few reviews for different tools and decided to use https://www.conversion.ai.

I used Google Autosuggest and got around 200 questions people are searching for. I'm going to find the answers to those questions and then use AI to generate the rest of the content. I'll aim for around 3-500 words of AI generated content for each post. It should cost around $120 in credits for 100,000 words.

I got a brand new domain a few days ago. I'm not planning to build any links to the site. Once it hits 1000 page views a month, I'll monetize it with ads.

I'll try my best to complete the entire site by the end of this month. After that, I'll post monthly updates.

What do you think? If spun and translated content can rank, can AI generated content rank without any links?

Sorry if it was unclear. When I talk about competition, I’m actually talking about the SERP. I do the competition check after I find the keywords using Autosuggest/Answer The Public etc.

The competition check doesn’t have anything to do with the search volumes.

I don’t use any tools and I don’t really care what they say. The info theprovide is totally inaccurate anyway. They have no clue what the search volumes really are.

I also don’t target anything that doesn’t show up through Google suggest. It’s hard for me to know what people are looking for. Especially when I have zero interest in the niche.

But the keyword kinda consists of 2 keywords with high search volume each. It's interesting, because this stuff doesn't really happen on Bing. Bing seems to rank/display search results like Google did a few years ago. One blog where I tested the KGR method a few months ago, this one is ranking pretty well on Bing. The one that I mentioned previously not so much, but Google seems to rank better by search intent obviously.

Thanks but there's nothing major to talk about. I'll update the thread when I get to 6000 PV in 30 days.
