Why are BHW forum rules so STRICT?

Lol @ a warning after that

I felt the same way in the beginning.

I find the best way to stay out of warnings in this forum:
1) Dont link to any other sites
2) Dont post about things that are illegal
3) Dont try to sell unless you're a JV and own a marketplace thread

With those 3 rules, you'll live pretty easy here

I think they should be more strict. I prefer quality vs quantity.

Hot girls break rules all the time and get away with it :smirk:

Not in bhw they don't..
They get away with it if they give me a review copy.

BHW rules are not actually strict. When I was a newbie, I also thought they are strict. There are things in place to ensure that buy & sell happens only in a particular manner. It is good, as scammers can be kept away. Whatever it is, it is there to protect you from getting scammed.

And I actually gave it to you for posting in the wrong subforum + I deleted the post.

It is a mild warning and warnings are not to be "offensive" in nature but rather to keep you heading in the right direction.

I think it expires in a week actually and it is the only warning you received since you joined in November of last year,

The staff is not out to make your life miserable but rather to make sure we all operate inside the rules and share inside the rules and you can always respond to the warning PM for clarification and I'm sure the staff member who issues the warning is more than willing to clarify things if one does not understand as not everyone here has English as their main/first language.
I realised that, I am appreciative. All I am saying is that it is hard for a Lurker not to stay a lurker and be as active because they (like me) stumble into mistakes like these.

Your first responsibility here is to study the rules before you made your first post. This is a regulated forum not social media platform
show me 1 person in the world that has time to study the forum rules (no offense really, I definitely don't have time + there are many many rules)

You're going to make mistakes with everything in life, and mistakes are one way you can learn. A warning is just us steering you in the right direction as to how things work around here. It's nothing to be put off by in the same way a penalty from Google shouldn't put you off of doing SEO.

Nobody is expected to read the TOS and know it by heart (except for me, maybe).

Note taken :) Great to know that the warnings are in place just to steer us in the right direction. Hopefully I don't run into them TOO often!

He talking about 15 post for sure

But, actually sometimes BHW sounds like a class where you have to sit straight , or sir will decide what's going to happen next

But the Sir is always open to conversation as we are not here to hurt but to help and direct.

I'm probably more strict than most in terms of making sure the rules are not violated but even I am open to discussion snd delete and issue alerts often as opposed to warn BUT the name of the game is, stay inside of the rules so we can help you in your BHW journey.

Love you sir and yep not BHW journey it's BHW life

Without certain rules the group would be turned to a spammy group so certain precautions need to take place... btw which rule did you break ?
