There are plenty of threads which talk about that here, but it is an old method and not for the long term. Check @macdonjo3 answer. He is 100% right.

Im guessing so. I was going to use the high da of a Web 2.0 to rank keywords for a medium term money site.

if site gets fucked I take content, wait for it to de-index and reuse content on next web2.0.

Was going to build links to the main web2.0 with

1. Other Web 2.0 <- Gsa blast
2. 1 guest post
3. Press release <- Gsa

and some other stuff.

OP, I think the word you're looking for is parasites and unlike what @hideath said, there is an advantage to them. Medium used to work really well for this. There are still a few platforms that work but obviously a lot are cracking down on welcoming the spam. However, I know at least 5 well-known members on here who have made a small fortune off them but I don't think any are active on here anymore.

@Panther28 - You've been here as long as me, surely there are some juicy parasite threads in Exec or is it still dead in there?

@Nash Commerce - Your thinking is solid. Ignore 90% of these replies. Keep going. Def good thinking for a member who joined last year. Parasites are very churn and burn but don't let that scare you off.

I generally find what others are using for parasites then copy (testing the one below currently, not mine, just one a friend sent me). You can also ask in some of the more advanced SEO groups and hope someone will answer but it's unlikely.

I believe they do have separate names for a reason,
some of the web 2.0s could be used as parasites but the majority won't give you an actual advantage,
many of them do not get even get indexed in the last weeks, do check the case with Yolasite

I was going to use Wordpress Web 2.0 sites on their sub domain to take some DA. My main things is paid ads, I’m not a noob to seo but I’m definitely not advanced yet.

Ive heard of parasites before but never researched into them.

If you're aiming for some serious & long term project, you should stay away from this,
You'll have better control, features, branding & even chances to rank using a legit domain with your own hosting,
If you want to rank on Google, you should aim for what works on it, not relying on Moz metrics
